Wonder Woman is canonically queer, according to her current writer Greg Rucka.

This news will come as a bombshell to some fans, but for many people it's just official confirmation of something they already knew. Wonder Woman's queer subtext was already there, from her upbringing on the all-female island of Themyscira to the background of her creator, William Moulton Marston, who lived in a polyamorous relationship with two women.
Polyamory =/= same sex marriage.

So, because she comes from an all-female island, a concept likely intended to make young boys horny and want to go there, they're all lesbians.

quote:

In a comic last year, Wonder Woman pointed out that there is no such thing as "gay marriage" among the Amazons—it was simply known as "marriage." And in Jill Thompson's new retelling of her origin story, published this week, Wonder Woman's formative relationship is a crush on a stable girl named Althea.
Hijacked, re-booted Wonder Woman doesn't count.

It's kind of offensive that her sexuality and gender identity are categorically defined. I was hoping they would make her nonbinary and maybe trans.

Does this mean we'll get some girl on girl action in the directors cut of Wonder Woman?

She has always been into both men and women.

Before she met Steve Trevor, she had no idea what men were, basically.

This doesn't bother me in the slightest.

She came from an island of women.

I don't know why people make issues about lesbian characters. There have been plenty of lesbians in comic books and it never bothered anyone because, well, they are bought by majority male teens.

Maybe we can explore this further in an upcoming DCEU movie. Perhaps the stand alone Harley Quinn movie?

Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy have hooked up. Margot Robbie and someone else hot.

We just need to find someone hot to play Ivy.

My argument is:

Who gives a shite? Why is there a crusade for gay super heroes? I don't get why this is so important to poeple.

The island of women was supposed to be pubescent horndog paradise, not the fricking Lilith Fair.

Wouldn't she break her girlfriend in half when they scissored?

Yes, and has been proven, Superman would blow Lois Lane's brains out with his Super cumshots.

I think she fricked other Amazons.

So no.

The Amazon Island is like prison.
