manwich spoiled nothing. he had a few clarifications that were requested, but it obviously still makes some people mad. that is why we have the question thread now. the people that dont want anything clarified can be safe in here.
FWIW, a lot of the clarifications would be resolved if you guys would not post during the show. so many questions that are asked on here are pretty basic stuff that the show tells you if you pay attention the entire time and dont get distracted

He's in King's Landing on the small council still with the old man Pycelle.
So we just haven't seen him yet.
Of all the story lines I mentioned earlier, how many are in KL?
quote:
- Dany and her dragons/army
- Arya with the "non-Banner" dudes
--------now including the Hound
- Bran and Rickon and that group
- Jon Show and that camp
- The wall watchers and that crew (with the fat dude)
- Sansa
--------including Baelish
- Tyrion and his whore
- Brienne and Jamie
- Stannis Baratheon and that devil chick
- Joffrey
-----including Cersei, Margaery and her brother
- Robb Stark and Catelyn
- Tywin Lannister?
- Theon Greyjoy (in captivity, but also his other endeavors like the Iron Islands)
That it??

..is definitely spoiler-ish and shouldn't be in here.

cocomo i wish more people paid attention like you

Maybe not to you, because you know what's going on.
But if someone says "Man, I love ______ character" and he repsonds with "Oh, he's an integral part of things, don't you worry.." that's definitely bullshite.

That's complete bullshite. Bottom line is nothing would be spoiled/hinted at/etc. if bookreaders didn't post that shite in here. That's it. Nothing else explains it. If people didn't feel the need to flex their book knowledge (and I'm not saying that's what manwich was doing FWIW) in this thread, then the rest of us nonreaders wouldn't have shite spoiled for us. It really is that simple.
I'm a perfect example. I don't watch and post. I watch intently trying to follow everything that's going on. I even rewind and turn on subtitles if I have to, to make sure that I am up to speed and understand everything. And I still get all kinds of fricked up keeping things straight. So spare me the "You guys should really just pay more attention" bullshite. And again, it's basic stuff TO YOU because you've read the fricking books. a-hole.

It didn't rustle mine, but it's still not the best thing to say, no?
I liken it to the "OH YOU JUST WAIT!!" comments in TWD threads when someone mentions a character or their fate. Just seems unnecessary is all.
And just to be clear (like I was with tebow), I'm not accusing you of anything assholish in this thread. Only asking that we keep any and all information not specifically on the show out of this thread. That's all.

i wasnt saying you directly. it was a general message. it's obvious that you pay attention. i didn't read the books till after season 2 and i still knew the answers to a lot of questions asked in the tv-only threads. im not being an a-hole, it was just a tip

then i apologize. my definition of spoiler has been adjusted to include even incredibly obvious stuff

Yeah, sorry bout the a-hole part. I typed it, then deleted it, then was like frick it and typed it again.

Since you said that I have a question about what cat said when she was talking about John snow to robs lady. And all I'm asking is for the line not anything more or less. I watched it like 6 times and could tell which she said. Cat says when Ned brought him back from the _____. Doesn't she say wall or war? I can't tell. Just really bugged me

quote:i guess that would depend on the comment prior to saying that. if the character was dead or the show lead you to believe something about them but the OH YOU JUST WAIT clued you in that it wasn't like you were lead to believe then i would call it a spoiler.

That's why I thought. But threw my head into a bunch of wait what ifs
I think she says war but it really really sounds like she says wall

no i understand
i had posted earlier "i wish people paid attention like you" higher on this page as proof that i wasnt calling you out.
i agree with you that the "oo i love this part coming up" and shite like that should not be in here. unfortunately, im sure we wont be able to stop it. some people cant resist.
baloo should make a tv-only board that you must be granted access to

Pretty sure she said war, since Ned went off to war and fricked Sloot Snow and brought Jon home.
But I find that I have to turn on subtitles for this show a lot of times due to all of the accents and shite. I watched the whole episode last night with subtitles.
