Does he have all his fingers and are they on his hand or in a pouch around his neck?

When you put them in the pouch they become "luck".

I expect to see a lot of players at next year's WSOP with their fingers in a pouch around their neck.

Filming started today, pretty good rundown on major roles still yet to be cast/announced. Can't wait to see how they cast some of these, Jaqen in particular

Qhorin Halfhand Okay, he's not that major of a character
Aside from being a total bad arse and the best swordsman still in the NW, and having a very significant and meaningful ranging...

Vargo Hoat
Wow, dye his beard and that is Vargo Hoat.

So far, I'm not digging the Stannis casting. I pictured him bigger, more war hardened. It's the only one I don't like so far.
LOVE the Brianne casting. Perfect.

I did not picture him like that AT ALL. I pictured him thin, cold, calculating.

Posted this in the other thread, but I think it should go here:
The Xaro casting I think is turning some heads since the guy is black as night and I think the book describes Qartheen as pale.
Whatever though...
There's also these pics of The Seven that were released:

I imagine this will be for the scene where Melisandre burns the statues

Disclaimer: Only read through COK.
I got the impression that both the Lannisters and Starks respected his abilities as a warrior, even with a smaller army (prior to the Renly scene). And that he fought with Robert when he and Stark conquered Kings Landing, Iron Islands, etc...
I think that is what I pictured. A man similar in build to Robert (before the crown fattened him up), but without the looks of either Renly or Robert.
I could certainly see your angle, though.
ETA: And I'm sure the next few books may alter my vision of him a bit.

I always got the impression that they respected Stannis as a COMMANDER, not necessarily a warrior.
Where Robert would go in charging, Stannis would forumlate a plan of attack and be methodical.
