Can you imagine the melt if they teased Cleganebowl and then the rubble killed The Mountain?

Arya is about to kill The Mad Queen

Jon is a Targaryen. He won’t burn.
GRRM has said everyone can burn even Targaryens. EVERYONE.
The Dany thing was supposedly just some fluke, but GRRM was very clear.

The hound was never going to kill Necro Mountain in hand to hand combat.
They had to kill him that way

I thought it was going to happen to be honest

My only real gripe is the rushing of Dany going mad. If this season was 10 episodes I could easily see it but with 6 is just eh
But it is absolutley in character. Dany has dealt with her problems by burning them since season 1 when she burned the witch who killed Drogo.
She burned Pyat Pree in Xarth. She burned the slavers, the slavers ships, the group of khals...
She came to Westeros and burned the men who surrendered, but refused to kneel...
All along it was mentioend that Dany was good at conquering, but terrible at diplomacy and being a real leader with anything but fear and awe.
So her getting continually nudged around and eventually snapping when she doesn't get the adoration she had been expecting because Jon was the one people loved...then her own subordinates thought she was unfit. Then Varys plots against her. Sansa plots against her. Her most loyal advisor has made mistake after mistake...
Plus, she saw two of her three children die right in front of her. Then Missandei? And Jorah? Those people represented the last vestiges of her conscience, and they were taken away.
So I can buy her going mad, and don't feel it was rushed...just...I don't know. I still don't like it somehow.

Apparently Northerners and Dothraki are cold blooded killers and rapists who got triggered at the bells too.
With how cheesy and winky this season has been, I expected to hear "The North Remembers!" yelled a few times to screw with fans.

Great episode. Dany is a bitch. Too bad Jon was a cuck

It wasnt abrupt. It's been building. She's been cooking enemies and is obsessed with the thought of not being in total control, with Jon's revelation being on her mind constantly despite what he says over and over again. And when Tyrion asked her to back off if she heard the bells, it wasn't like she said "okay!"
She wanted revenge, and she has a family of history of taking revenge to the extreme and murdering innocents.

From Radiotimes:

Look, I’m not against Daenerys turning bad per se – I just don’t feel like we’ve built up to it enough. And this was TOO big a fall, like when Anakin Skywalker in Revenge of the Sith went from “well Palpatine must have a trial, the Jedi are not executioners” to “Welp, better murder all this children” within a solid 27 minutes.

Dany was a special exception, which is why they call her the unburnt.
Hmmm no one knew he was a Targaryen until now. He could be called The Other Unburnt

Don't think it will ever get that far. Everyone has seen how the Dragon looks at Snow. The Dragon knows. It may torch the little dude, but not Snow.
The guy with the crossbow is going to get the mad queen.

Could have chopped his head off with a flaming sword, but I digress.

Episode was fricking amazing tbh, especially compared to the shite show last week. Epic, epic television.

Whatever, if that fat fricks opinion mattered he could have written a book over the past decade to give his interpretation...

Haters are ridiculous. That was incredible tv

How did she not burn all of her own soldiers?
