I liked that part. Think it's a good set up for something to come in the near future.
I am just not sure what the frick it was. Was it a temporary suicide pact? Was it a love moment? Was it them saying "frick it, lets run out there in the hallway and fight!" or what...
Just unclear is my point.

3. One of the dragons should have just hovered lower around the castle below the storm and blown fire into the white walkers the entire time. (this is nitpicking)
No. From their experience, the White Walkers can frozen rope throw a ice spear from a good distance. You don't want a stationary target for either a spear or the Night King attacking (see when they were stationary in the moonlight, were attacked, and then went stationary again for a bit).
That being said, Dany and Jon disappeared and didn't thin out the undead ranks nearly good enough to give people a fighting chance.

Things people who are complaining about the end of the series are forgetting
1. Dany has no army, or not much of one
2. Dany and Jon still have conflict
3. Dany has, at best, one loyal dragon now that Rhaegal recognizes Jon as a Targ and has only let Jon ride him
I'm leaning more and more towards the theory that Dany goes all "Mad Queen" at the end.

Can't Danaerys not have children though?
She bled again in the books. Im sure the same idea carried over in the show, they just didnt show it.

It was Sansa saying “I should have let you hit it” and Tyrion saying “you should have let me hit it, but there’s still time”

Jon and Rhaegal effectively have no relationship beyond the rides.
Does Jon even give a shite he was injured?

I'm not defending ALL live. I was expecting Tormund (defending Brienne), Pod, Jorah, and Beric. Possibly Brienne.
Only killing the old people and a 12yo was BS

Intentional or not, it 100% came off as a suicide pact.
After all of the adrenaline wore off this morning their conversation really sticks out. VERY interested to see where they take us

I don't mean float in one spot (which she actually did for a very long time when she tried to burn the Night King by the way)
I mean just circle around lower. They kept going high into the clouds after the ice dragon. One of the good dragons should've protected the castle.
Just IMO. Like I said, nitpicking.
I liked the episode and loved Arya doing the deed.

They thought they were about to die and were going to go out together

They’ll make it seem like that’s gonna happen and then she’ll sacrifice herself or something.

They have become more accepting of him over time. Started with drogon sniffing him and letting Jon touch him

1. The darkness. That was ridiculous. I had every light off in my house, turned brightness up on my 60" TV a little bit, and still couldn't see shite in some of the battle scenes.
This times x100000000

Thats what I was assuming it was.

Why is this still a theory?
Dany nearly gave her life to protect the world against the dead and suddenly her character is going to do a 180?

did you not see Jon walk past all of his closest friends on the edge of death trying to get to the NK? Jon is someone that can give up things he loves for a greater good.

Won't the last two or three episodes be much more entertaining with more of the main characters around? This isn't season 3 or 4 where main characters can get killed and then have their voids filled with new people. If everyone had died in this episode that some fans wanted there would be no one left that anyone had any interest in.

And that wont be good enough for the people that want Dany to die because she wont die in the way they had hoped. Most of the hate is based off the show not going the way they wanted to instead of something like the quality not being there. It being bad because it didnt satisfy the amount of people you wanted to die or some other similar reason isnt a legit excuse.
I love all the "this is how it should have went" comments and almost every one of them are complete garbage that would have made %1 of the population happy instead of the majority.

This is true, but without her the world gets wiped out. She almost had to and she knew it. It was a strategic risk but one that she was smart enough to take seriously.
What is obvious is that she has been slowly losing her composure.
