Like Thanos, the NK thinks he is the good guy. I was hoping for something like this too. There needed to be more reason for the When and Why the NK chose to mobilize now. Like he was protecting the children of the forest, but he killed them too. Or why he thought the 3ER was a bad thing. There seems to be zero motive.

Oh I didn’t realize that. Probably the screen was too frickin dark to see him again.

No. I don't think they showed him again.

But they did show him in next week's promo.

overall this was an awesome episode with a terrible ending to a story.

Extremely well done, intense as frick, but should have way more casualties and the NK deserved much more. But this is what happens when you run out of source material.

The writers didn't know what to do with the Others so they sent them out in all their glory. Brutal they just end like that, their whole mythology is the show and book series to me and was my favorite part of the ASOF.

Now we will have 3 episodes devoted to Cersei and getting enough people to storm KL I guess.

Episode had great music and moments, but more people should of died and the NK and the entire Others mythology deserved much more IMO.

As much as I love that, no chance D&as considered it

So we lost:

- Lyanna
- Alys Karstark
- Beric
- Edd
- Jorah
- Melisandre
- Qhono
- Theon

Will episode 5 be more or less bloody? (miguel sapochnik directed ep5 too.) I think more. We'll actually see some majors fall

I disagree. It would have been perfect. Arya gets to KL and kills Cersei. She returns to the North and finds eveyone dead and then the Night King kills her. Roll Credits. Winter came. And so did I.

and this is why none of you (and me) are writers for hit TV series

their motive is Winter is Coming, they have been coming down since the beginning of men.

I don't remember anyone bitching when you could say the same thing about Jaqen H'ghar in Season 3.

Did Lyanna Mormont survive the giant or did she kill him as she died?

unfortunately, at least in the TV show, the WWs are simply a representation of "death"

that's it

and Sam and Jon and everyone told us this repeatedly

I didn’t enjoy that Bran was seemingly no help and I’m not entirely sure what his purpose is now? Ghost dying with Jorah and the Dothraki seems stupid as hell. I’m not a huge fan of the episodes that have a battle the entire time, but I get that it was necessary. It is just sad that it is so very evident that they just want to wrap things up as quickly as possible and the interesting details of the story telling we know and love have seemingly gone by the wayside.

No way in hell Martin has the Others go out like that, now way.

So its stupid that she didnt kill Cersei and let everyone else die?

There's a difference from being stupid and something not turning out the way you wanted it to.

I am not bitching. I am saying that with her establish skill-set, and the current state of everyone in the show, anything other than sending Arya to King's Landing to stab Cersei in the back while she sleeps makes absolutely no sense from a tactical standpoint.

I asked this earliter but got lost in how fast this page goes.

Are we sure the NK is the only WW that can raise the dead, does he control the other WW (not the Wights)

I just find it odd that one scene when they changed the baby that they had 13 WW in a circle. Is the NK the link to all of them, even if they are turned by touch as babies?

Does killing the NK kill the other WW as well as the Wights? Or do we have some WW left out there (and what happens to Benjen?)
