So Arya will kill the Mountain, Qyburn, Euron, and Cersei along with any other bad character. Such shitty writing. This is shitty subverting if expectations in the same way as the Last Jedi.

I wonder what happens to Ser Royce.

Arya climbed the tree early. There was fast movement in the shadows before the dead came in heavy, and it was not coming into Theon and Bran. That was Arya, picking her tree.
Never saw any of this.
There was a shot of the white walker with a breeze blowing his hair then Arya jumped out
It was inferred she was running by silently for the kill

NK was a targ.
Immune to fire.

Arya has been building up to some major death for seasons now. Cersei or the NK, it was always one of them.

No. It was a long running ancillary plot.
It's called Game of Thrones. It's mainly a political drama revolving around human drama.
The White Walkers, prior to this season, appeared in 12 episodes. So no, they weren't the end game of GOT.
You're correct. Did you even read what I was responding to?

You’ve been reeling since Littlefinger wasn’t killed the way you wanted. Bugger off.

Holy shite what a great episode.
But it’s weird for me because, while this is one big battle episode, it’s pretty far removed from being my favorite battle of the series but it is one of my favorite episodes.
I’d rank both the battle of black water and the battle of the bastards as better battles but this was the better episode.
Really my only slight complaint was that I thought Lyanna Mormonts death was a little too heavy handed but it was still fun as hell to watch.

She killed Walker Frey, Black Walter, Lothar Frey, and fricking Littlefinger. Getting a little fricking greedy now?

Did y’all not watch last week? His entire purpose was to be used as bait so they could assasinate the NK. He served the ultimate purpose. They knew NK would end up there for certain
Exactly. And it was explained that the NK wanted to end humanity. What more do you need?

Does anyone think they used a LOT of extras that looked similar to main characters as quick red shirt deaths to make you think “NO!” as they got killed?
So much quick motion

I think I would have pleased if the NK's body would have turned back human or something. Just exploding into ice bits left me wanting more

Great episode.
I had no problem with the way Arya killed the NK, but think it would have made more sense if she didn't have to somehow run through a wall of wrights and white walkers without somehow being seen.
The night King was standing about where Jon was in episode 1 though when he said how did you sneak up on me.

Exactly. Sending in the Dothraki like that was dumb as frick.
Not like you can flank a sea of undead soldiers. You can't route them. They don't tire. Dothraki's whole thing is fightin from horseback. Can't really do that effectively when you're essentially defending a siege, again, against superior numbers.
Can't out flank them but temporarily, and even then...it would happen exactly like we saw. Clash, swarmed, dead.
Kind of a pity they came all that way to be completely useless except to weaken Cersei a bit last season.

The good news is that Dany doesn't even need an army or dragons now
Arya can stealth into KL and kill Cersei.
Roll credits.

Those are not major deaths

I’m looking forward to seeing Arya ride into Kings Landing on Nymeria.

I wonder if we will see Jaquen H'gar avenge the God of Death

I’ve read the books as much or more than anyone on this board. I’ve gone as deep into theories and studying hidden foreshadowing as you can go.
The show established a long time ago that they weren’t going to be held hostage by an unfinished idea. Get over it
