Game of Thrones S8 E3 "The Long Night." Official Thread
Created because this episode deserves an official thread and that other goon can’t take the time to edit the title.

Why did no one stop Bran from going to the tree? Because he goes wherever he wheels.

In this bitch. I still think it’s dumb that they are having the NKs main motivation to “erase the memory of man”. That’s weak IMO

Makes sense for Bran to be by the tree - potentially can see everything that happens there throughout time.

No question he actually knows how it is all going to go and isn't telling anyone. The "Why?" is what will be interesting.

Perhaps I am mistaken, but I thought Bran could only see the past and things happening at the present. Not the future.

Edit: Disregard just saw that he is come ability to see future events, but it isn't clear as when he is looking into the past. If I had to guess it would be like seeing millions of threads for each possible outcome in the future. Or is it more prophetic abstract and not real time events?

Night King to King's Landing rather than Winterfell has really picked up steam in the last few days. What's the consensus here?

Let's go Aegon! NIGHT KING SUCKS!

All hail the Night King.

No way he loses without some shitty Disney storyline.

Unless he gets what he wants and goes back to where he came from. (Give then the baby you stole Sam!!!!)

That's a popular one.

I've also read about a theory, & maybe book readers can help me, what do we know about the Night Queen? The theory is basically Bran the builder constructed the crypts with the same magic used on the wall to hold her in "prison". Meaning, that's what the NK is ultimately after.

I am of the opinion that the Night King is the GOOD guy and that mankind is the villian - and that Bran licks the taints of men.

From everything we have seen, the NightKing is the victim in this show

You still rooting for the Iron Bank baw? Everyone knows they’re financing the White Walkers to profit off the perpetual cycle of war in Westeros.

Wake up Hodors
