Makes sense for Bran to be by the tree - potentially can see everything that happens there throughout time.
No question he actually knows how it is all going to go and isn't telling anyone. The "Why?" is what will be interesting.

Edit: Disregard just saw that he is come ability to see future events, but it isn't clear as when he is looking into the past. If I had to guess it would be like seeing millions of threads for each possible outcome in the future. Or is it more prophetic abstract and not real time events?

I've also read about a theory, & maybe book readers can help me, what do we know about the Night Queen? The theory is basically Bran the builder constructed the crypts with the same magic used on the wall to hold her in "prison". Meaning, that's what the NK is ultimately after.
