Arya still looks 13 so that sex scene felt almost pedo-ish.

It’s not even the main focus of the scenes. The outfitting of an army and a fortress with essentially brand new tech served as a backdrop for scenes. Plus it’s important, did you notice the crenellations?

Could be bad writing. Could be lashing out since the Northerners don't seem to like her very much and he's an easy target. I have no idea.

well the whole thing was just such a typical thing. Like Unlucky said, it felt like a typical NBC show, not GOT
my gripe about Gilly was that she's there and TOTALLY different. now she's this super confident and competent character
it's not just that we had to see EVERYONE, it's that on top of that, they're all amazing now...to the point where they're not even the same characters (and if the point is reminding us about the characters in play, it's just weird that we now see a totally different one) that's why i put Pod and Gilly together for this criticism
i'll just give an example of a comparison: Arya. it took SEASONS of us seeing her develop to get to that level. and i'm talking pre-Bravos Arya (ending with her time with the Hound, when she really developed her personality). even post-Bravos, she's way OP (total fan service via plot armor) but we saw all that happen so it's understandable why she's such a c-word now.

There is a quote with the actor who plays Gendry who is like 31 and he’s lsaid it was pretty weird because he’s know her since she was like 12, but she’s 20 something now and they’re pros so they just went for it.

well he was a main character on Skins (with the actress who played Gilly no less) so i'm not sure why it's a big deal to him now

The hate on the Davos/Gilly scene is laughable.
It was 1 minute out of an hour long show. The girl reminded Davos of Shireen so it obviously touched him a little and it also could be foreshadowing that some stuff might happen down in the crypts.
It wasnt a bad scene. If that scene made you dislike the episode then you're somebody that's just looking to complain.

You do realize that in show-time, Gilly has been with Sam for the better part of a decade, right?
She’s not a main character, we won’t get to see her entire story played out on screen

I dont Really have an issue with Pods’ sword training with Brienne being off screen.

Sure, there are plot holes and some cheesy acting/dialogue occasionally, but man its just good fun. Some wild deaths, good tits, a bunch of solid characters, and fun action scenes.
I just have fun with it and accept it isn't The Godfather level cinema. You should just try that.

it was Dany trying to extend an olive branch in hoping to quell the fears of Sansa about the Targaryens... only Sansa politely telling her to take her olive branch and shove it
