Yeah, I have to say I'm disappointed by the director choices this year. Really wish they could have gotten back Bender, Sapochnik, and Marshall. Really just get all 3 of these and only the 3 of them to direct the final 6 episodes of the series.
I would be shocked if Sapochnik doesn't come back for season 8.

ETA: I also saw that Mylod did "The Broken Man" which I thought was a good episode. I know it had the Arya stabbing, but that wasn't terrible.

yeah I never said that. but that's enough for you to write 40 pages of melt.

i'm sorry your delicate sensibilities have been offended
Pretty garden variety dude.

Some of those scenes weren't on him. If the showrunners want to off Barristan Selmy in a random alley, there isn't much the director can do.
On the other hand, the Arya stabbing was really poorly shot in addition to be really poorly planned by the showrunners.

Many faced god = seven faced god to me. But hopefully I am wrong and that might give more fuel to the fire that the hound is a fire wight.

Have we seen a walker warg into anything?

No, but they could see Bran when he warged so I don't see why they couldn't do something similar.

I thought not. You'd think we would have seen some evidence of that by now if they could.
Now Bran warging into a walker, that I'd like to see

I'm not sure how I feel about the concept of "fire wights." Maybe it's good that the fat man isn't finishing the series.

magic is returning to the world, they might as well use it when its convenient. i'd rather have had the actress turn out to be a priestess and cure arya with magic than just be handy with gauze and antiseptic
same with the hound

We haven't seen walkers around live animals. They're the most powerful beings in the universe, I'm not going to assume they can't warg because we haven't seen it yet. I mean he grabbed Bran during a vision, can raise the dead, and can turn live humans into walkers. Sorry for thinking it isn't far fetched he has the ability of a Thenn soldier that wasn't even named

but bran wasn't warging he was time traveling. he wasn't occupying another being, he was visiting like a 4th dimensional being. nothing about that suggests to me the night king can warg

They actually had a perfect oppprtunity to have Mel (exiled by Jon) show up since she said that she would meet Arya again.
I also just hate that Arya either wandered on that bridge for no reason or that her master plan involved getting shanked and falling into the river.

No, I guess I just assumed 12,000 year old necromancers of the north would have the ability since it isn't uncommon amongst northerners

i think in a quite moment theyd admit that they didnt write or shoot that whole thing very well

I like Thorros and Beric's faces when the Hound was telling them about his vision. There was a huge look of concern in both their faces about what they were heading into.

We've seen them around people plenty though. You'd think warging into someone like Tormund during the battle beyond the wall would have been helpful in ridding them of Jon Snow.
I'm going off the assumption that Jon is an extremely powerful warg and can probably not be warged into. I know this was never mentioned in the tv show

Why are we discussing WW warging again? They don't have the power, let's move on.

Yeah, I know, I just couldn't figure out what exactly to say Bran was doing right there. Which either way, regular humans can't do and the Night's King was able to see him right there.
