Yep, looks a lot like the Valyrian steel dagger used in the assassination attempt of Bran

Nothing gets pass GOT nerds
Serious question though. Sam found out that there is dragon glass in the mountain at dragonstone, right? He sent out a raven to Jon Snow to tell him to go mine it, right? Does Dany not already know that there is dragon glass there? She knows about the walkers and how to defeat them, but is she unaware that she is sitting on top of tons of dragon glass? Or does she not care because she has actual dragons that could possibly defeat them?

I took it more as a stockpile, not a mine.

I am about 90% sure Dany does not know about WW's.

Does she know about the walkers? Her attention has been solely focused on taking the iron throne

I don't think any of the southerners understand the immediate nature or the threat of white walkers even if they do believe in their existence. Even the maester at the citadel seemed surpised at himself for believing Sam

Also, I didn't quite get his whole point. I'll try get pick up it up on the rewatch but was he saying that even if they do exist, the wall will protect the realm until the long night ends?

The page before the dragonglass showed a very familiar weapon (dagger). Haven't seen this mentioned much if at all
I noticed that too.
Looking at what you posted, it seems to suggest the blade pictured is of dragonglass and that some of those pieces were forged with dragon's fire (melted and molded). Are we possibly reading how they make their Valyrian steel as well?

I took from that, he believed Sam that they were there, but didn't see it as an apocalyptic event or one so urgent that Sam should be granted access to the restricted area. So yea...basically that Sam is worrying for nothing because they always survive the winter.
From the Hounds fire scene though, it sounds to me like the army of the dead is planning to go around the wall, which would render the magic placed into the wall useless if they're just boating around it

Was watching last night with my sister and she made that comment since she is a big HP fan. He did look familiar when he was on screen.

Maybe but Jon did say that was the closest Night's Watch castle to Hardholme. So maybe the reason he saw them there was because they were traveling from that direction.

I still think it is heading into a direction that all who will be left to rule are women.
Doubt that. I don't see Jon dying anymore. I could actually see him becoming the ruler over everybody. Cersei is gonna die by the end of this, don't see tyrion dying so he'd be the head of the Lannisters or Jaime if he makes it. Yara has a good chance of being killed leaving Theon as the head of the family. Olenna Tyrell is old as the fricking dirt, she's about to die, which would leave Garland Tyrell as the head of Highgarden if he didn't die in the Sept of Baelor.

It was the voice that made me do a double take.

Possibly, but it does mention how they made their strange monuments.

So Mark Mylod is directing the next two episodes. I must say I'm a little concerned.

I think when it's all said and done there will be two independent, allied kingdoms in westeros. Jon ruling the north and Dany ruling the south

It's kind of funny because Moulin Rouge and Hot Fuzz were both on HBO yesterday...
