LF's motives are to destroy House Stark and the highborns as a whole. I can say pretty confidently their motives are not aligned.

I don't think Sansa calls on LF without a second agenda. She's learned too much to get caught off guard by LF

That's what I would do. I thought she was butchy and wanted to be a man so I didn't see a problem with it and I hate it when they just through gay/lesbians stuff in a show.

Why wouldn't Jon bring Ghost with him to unite the Northern Houses? That would help his stance that the Starks are still strong.
1) He let thousands of Wildlings through the Wall, which as far as 95% of the realm is concerned is the Night's Watch's only real job.
2) He broke his vows to serve in the Night's Watch for life (I don't think most of the realm is going to buy he actually died).
3) He seemingly served Stannis to serve his own goals.
4) He has at least 3 people in front of him in line to inherit the title of Lord of Winterfell.

Calling it here:
Littlefinger comes in at the end of Battle of Bastards to make his claim on the North. Then a combination Blackfish/Howland Reed army + Brienne & Pod surprises the surprisor. And Bran pops up and does, er, something Bran-ish.
If I keep throwing these things out there, I have to get something right sooner or later.

What if Jon starts playing the game really well and cuts a side deal with LF that he will marry Sansa to LF (as a replacement Cat) if LF supports him as Lord of Winterfell?
I am just kidding...... Or am I?

The High Sparrow is not going to join forces with The Blackfish to take Winterfell.

Jon is way too nice/honorable to do that to Sansa, as I'm sure she would flip her shite if Jon tried marrying her to LF

The Lannisters didn't need Robb's approval to marry Sansa to Tyrion, so I don't see why LF would give a damn if Jon gave his approval on that or not.

More of a "look I will help make this thing look legit," but I was basically just kidding. No way Jon does that.

Surprised I haven't seen a screen shot of the letter Sansa was writing. I paused it on second watch and could make some of it out. The words "served" and "Winterfell" were clear. If I had to guess and knew nothing about the LF subplot I would say she was penning a letter to a Northern House.
If she is writing LF for his help then this is some pretty crappy writing. The GNC would have been a much, much better story. These sayings like "The North Remembers" are turning out to be complete BS. A thousand years of loyalty and a code of honor Northerners lived by thrown out the window in a few years. In the realm of this story what is happening on the show isn't believable.

Once LF gets Sansa he has two options.
1. Bring her to Cercei
2. Join Jon

Why are your posts in the Hodor thread catching the redscale?

I don't see Littlefinger marrying Sansa.
I think at this point Sansa knows there's a huge risk asking for the Vale army, but they are desperate since the other Northern houses seem all butthurt and the Mormonts only have 62 men.
I have no idea how this will all shake out at the end of E9. If I were Jon and Sansa I wouldn't trust any of them after the battle. You can't constantly switch your allegiances like that.

I'm disappointed we didn't even hear from the Manderly's

Or what I think:
Option 3: Declares her Queen in the North and has 3 of the 7 Kingdoms under his control.

Glover's argument was pretty solid about why he wouldn't just turn from the Bolton's. They felt betrayed by Robb and the Bolton's helped him get his castle back. And your only fighting force is a pack of wildlings the North hates.
ETA: The actors they are getting to play in some of the bit parts have just been tremendous.

Agreed. Plus LF knows that Cersei's power in King's Landing wanes by the second ever since Tywin died. The Lannisters are done (aside from Jaime and Tyrion).

Even though the letter to LF is the obvious answer, I was hoping the letter was some vehicle to bring the Manderlys into the fold.

I wasn't paying attention while sitting on the crapper and posted a breakdown of who is ruling each house. I thought it was a question in this thread. I don't think there were any spoilers in it (I don't think there are any spoilers left that anyone who has read the books CAN give at this point). Anyway when I realized it was the wrong thread I pointed it out and said I would take it down if people wanted.
I assume Cocomo nuked it. It was a useful post for them but whatever.
