Would be weird to do the whole Coldhands thing now instead of earlier. They could just do living Benjen who has been hiding out above the wall. It doesn't really make sense how he found food to survive, but the show has never cared about realism (LF jetpack)

Definitely agree with you there. I think he's been trying to find out more info about the Others since the start of the series.

Weak argument.
No, this is a weak argument

They show the red woman change her appearance and especially her age.
Just because witches from a far away land, which have apparently lived for hundreds of years can do something has absolutely nothing to do with a 45 to 50 year old man.

it's made very clear that HR knows some magic including changing his appearanc
I don't remember this. Books or show?

Books. It's when Meera is telling Bran about the tournament at Harrenhal. She mentions all the magical shite that HR learned on his travels.

The books deal a lot with people seeing what's not really there. This was just a cool way for the show to remind its audience that this is a device that exists in this world so it doesn't seem Deus ex machina when HR does it later this season.
Boom, HR=HS successfully defended again!!!!

I understand this is a bookreader thread, but using anything from the books which is specifically left out of the show to defend your show theory is pretty weak.

Definitely not. You have literally not used a single piece of evidence from the show to successfully defend the HR=HS theory.

Has anybody gone back and looked at the preseason trailers to see what all scenes have/haven't happened?

I saw one scene that now in context of what's happened so far is extremely spoilerish.

1. I've typically been drinking all day by the time the show comes on, I read the books sober. Of course most of my supporting evidence will come from the books.
2. What little show evidence I did give wasn't disputed.
-no reason that Davos and Jon didn't even mention house Reed
-no reason why they showed red lady get old all of a sudden, that didn't move the plot along and only killed boners
And don't shite on a theory that's supported by books and not the show, you wanna celebrate illiteracy then this ain't the thread for you.

I think that George RR Martin himself has said pretty positively that Coldhands is not Benjen.

What if Margaery has converted to the Faith Militant in order to save her brother, thus making the Tyrell invasion of Kings Landing a moot point? Tom men gets pissed, orders Frankenmountain to destroy everything in sight; at this point Jamie/Cersie think it's the time to strike so the Lannisters ride in and rout the Tyrell army? This would greatly weaken the Weseros for the WW and/or Dothraki hoards.

Lesbian make out hasn't happened. The snowy battle scene hasn't happened. I'll have to go rewatch and remember some more clips.

There's one I could post that I saw on Reddit, but I'm not going to do it, because even though it was in the trailer for a split second, the implication from the picture is too spoilerish. One could go to Reddit GameofThrones and look around and see it.

I prefer to believe HS=HR, but the one struggle is unless HR can change face, how has no one noticed that hey, this is the head of House Reed, killer of the Morning Star, best fricking friend of Eddard Stark, Magic Monkey of the Crannogmen?

Nobody has seen him outside Greywater since the tower of Joy (except Ashara and Ned who are dead).

I don't think he is. But Benjen doesn't save them. Cold hands does IMO.

I was thinking that time could be ripe for the Tyrells to push the Lannisters to the side in KL. thanks for inviting my army into the city, now you and your sister can both go to your rooms and not come out.
I was thinking that the Jamie and Cersei are going to bow up to the HS with the "support" of the Tyrells and the Tyrell army is going to doublecross and back the HS. Very similar to how the Goldcloaks flipped on Ned.

Has anyone discussed the possibility that Ramsay got Sansa pregnant before she escaped?
She's been making an entirely new wardrobe lately, and when you factor in this line from the last episode...
“I can still feel what he did in my body, standing here right now.”
Plus this picture from the promos...
It's not something I came with on my own, obviously. Just curious if anyone else thinks it could be true.
