Is it just me or do the Tarly's have the best castle in the 7 kingdoms?

Yeah, I was a bit surprised about that. I always imagined Horn Hill to be the crappiest castle in the Reach and for it to be more of a Northern-like house in appearance. That kicks the crap out of Winterfell.

God I hope Bran is not responsible for Aerys mental state.
I'm assuming the 3ER is the one responsible. He was trying to tell Aerys about the White Walkers and that he needed to burn them all, but he couldn't quite converse with him through his visions like he wanted to. It ended up just fricking Aerys up mentally.
That's also why he was quick to pull Bran back in the ToJ scene because he didn't want him making Ned go retarded.

That is just ridiculous to me and destroys his character. Aerys and Aerys alone is responsible for his madness. Yes people like Tywin and Duskindale helped him get to that point, but he was responsible at the end for all the horrible things he did as King.
The "Burn the All" really makes no sense for the warging purpose. That was at the very end of his life, he rigged the city to blow, and it was a direct command. It's not like Hodor. And if the Three Eyed Raven really warged into him, I'm almost sure Aerys would have heavily invested in the Wall.

I think bran was just having all of 3ER's knowledge downloaded and that was just a cool thing to throw in there. I don't think it was of any importance to Bran or 3ER's storyline.

So if Benjen was changed into Coldhands by the CoF in the same way that the Night's King was, why isn't he some crazy White Walker going around raising the dead and killing people? I guess they worked out the kinks from the last time?

If I had to guess, the Others have a hive-like mind. They just didn't give Benjen that.

Think Margie's conversion is a sham?

That's what I thought at first, but I guess not after what happened with Jamie. She did a big 180 in a week it seems
and Cercei seemed weirdly okay with Jamie leaving and at what happened

Woah hang on guys. I'm a little late on the episode. I started watching 5 minutes ago so can you hold off on anything spoilery until I catch up? Thanks.

The other White Walkers maybe, but I don't see the Night's King being part of a hive-like mind. And as far as we know, the Night's King is the only Other that was created by having dragon glass shoved into his chest. I would think that Benjen should've turned out the same way. Maybe because he was already dead or something changed how he turned out?

Not that I disagree, but things are certainly starting to add up to Bran or 3ER being the cause for Aerys ultimate demise.
If that's the case, I'm just hoping it's the 3ER failing to warg in to Aerys or talk to him in a vision instead of it being another Bran vision that gets side tracked because they're under attack or something.

I see him, for better lack of a word, the queen of the hive mind. They do what he says. The Others have some free will, but they always must obey him.

I think the initial curse of the Others was to have the dead follow him and obey his orders unquestionably. This just spiraled out of control, not to mention they took someone against his will. They just didn't give Benjen this power they imbued with the Night's King.

Is that a young Jaime sitting on the iron throne in that last screen cap?

Well, we just see it. I think if you can blame the Aerys Madness on 3ER, you can literally blame any event on the 3ER. There would be no free will in this universe. It completely cheapens the story if one of the main catalysts wasn't responsible for his actions at all the whole time.
