I think she will probably be smart enough to realize Tyrion did what he had to to keep the Sons of the Harpy at bay while she was MIA.

Isn't that obvious? Who just lost all of their ships? Khaleesi at some point will use the Greyjoy's fleet to move her entire force over to Westeros. The dragons will then melt a beach and make an awful lot of dragon glass for her army and whoever else joins them in the North to fight the white walkers.

Is he? I felt like Sam was his personification. Fat and weak but smart and loves books. I guess they could both be, but I imagine grrm as more of a pity frick from a wildling type than a prostitute nailing pimp.

Nah. He's at the Eeyrie. He can take ships north up the Narrow Sea, dock at Eastwatch and travel west along the wall to Castle Black. Same way Stannis did it, except Stannis parked just north of the wall instead of just south of it.

What she fails at is politics. She's great a taking over a city but sucks at holding them bcs she doesn't know how to compromise. Tyrion fully understands politics and how it works. She might hate what he's done, but she needs to learn from it.
Plus if she doesn't like it, she can take her Dothraki/Unsullied/Second Sons/Dragon army and take back those cities in a second now.

How many troops in the Vale? How many ships do they have? I get that's it's TV and they'll just ignore this, but it won't be a few days journey regardless of their route.
