I personally believe, in the end, this is more a story of Stark restoration over Targaryen
the Targaryens were dicks and ruled a conquered land due to cruel and abusive measures. That family deserves nothing. Dany will be assassinated, because I do not believe the shadowbender, Quaithe, who appears to her in visions, has the best of intentions.
Specifically, she warns Dany not to trust every single person who appears to be 'helping' her.
The white walkers were defeated by the Starks once before, and will be again.

I don't think so. She says he's dead. Pauses, they even cut back to them blind fighting, then cut back to the game and she proceeds to say "he was on her list" then the smack. They continue to talk about her list, but nothing else about the Hound's death. Every lie she told, she corrected after being smacked.

I agree with all of that and how it went down, but that doesn't mean he is not alive. I don't think she would have gotten smacked for saying something that she believed is true even if it was incorrect, but that's just my interpretation of that not necessarily being a "lie".

the general theory is that "beneath the shadow" and 'going east' is asshai but its obviously open to interpretation

I'm not saying he's dead. I think he's alive, but I don't think the waif scene proves anything.
She gets hit for saying he was on her list, not for saying he's dead. The slap game is different than the staff fighting. She gets hit during that for saying the truth, like the names of her brothers. In the slap game, she only gets hit for lying.

its hard cause they superimpose the staff fighting scene over the vocals of the sitting scene.
It does seem she got hit standing up each time when they superimposed her saying "Rob, Bran and Rickon" as her brothers - truths.
Then when superimpose tell me about the hound "also dead" they have an extending (3/4 moves)fight where she gets hit at the end - so could be a truth.

I agree, but it sure as shite does not prove that he is alive. Anyone saying that this proves he is alive is fooling themselves regardless of whether the hound turns up alive later on.

If this happens, I don't know if I would be happy that I don't have to see any of her stupid story again, or sad that I wasted so much time watching her shite story.

Yes and in the preview for next week, we see that she is clearly in a room with all of Khals. They show two very brief shots. One of her standing in front of them plus there were like 2 firepits. The next shot is even shorter and she has that look on her face we've seen before when she says "dracarys". Plus the room looks a hell of a lot more firey. I'm hoping she sets all of the Khals on fire!!! She becomes the leader of the Dothraki and orders them to come to Mereen with her.
