quote:Yeah, I get that, but honestly, Arya thinks he's dead for sure. How would the Waif know he's still alive? The HoBaW isn't all knowing.
Then when superimpose tell me about the hound "also dead" they have an extending (3/4 moves)fight where she gets hit at the end - so could be a truth.
I'd love to see a Hound/Arya reunion.

I fully recognize my quoted text is crack pot-ish but I just don't see a fairy tale ending with dany sailing across the ocean with tyrian riding rhaegal and dothraki and iron born and unsullied living in harmony

It has up votes and everything
this is why there needs to be two separate threads, always

Well, it worked for the Lannisters. Sort of.

Yes and in the preview for next week, we see that she is clearly in a room with all of Khals. They show two very brief shots. One of her standing in front of them plus there were like 2 firepits. The next shot is even shorter and she has that look on her face we've seen before when she says "dracarys". Plus the room looks a hell of a lot more firey. I'm hoping she sets all of the Khals on fire!!! She becomes the leader of the Dothraki and orders them to come to Mereen with her.
I'm just hoping they don't have the Khals make a big deal about deciding her fate. "Cause I just don't see them making that big of a thing of it. It would be kind of cool if they took like 30 seconds out of their discussions about sacking cities and enslaving populations and go like "er, this chick's Khal died and she didn't come here right away. Motion is to kill her. Any objections? None? Resolution passed."
Then she can go all fire queen on them.

I hope that all happens, outside of your last statement

Also, I wonder if the show is intended to be so radically different than the hopefully future books, it helps sell the books to people who don't like how the show handled it. HBO gets to tell its own story and grrm gets to give readers a possibly more agreeable ending.
I've been saying this since the rape of Sansa. They are two different animals and I'm glad...hence the major re-write of WoW I suspect, once 2phat realized the show would blow past him.
This is why I'm sucking up my bh over ToJ.
Hodors don't deserve that scene in all its glory, it belongs to us. Just like all the other great characters that were either combined or dropped.
Just like Victarion, The two horns, Volunquar...etc.
I am reader, hear me snort when I laugh.

I've seen a bunch of posters who disliked the "Where is Lysanna" line, but I suspect that this was put in there for the viewers who are unaware of who Ned and Co was looking for.
I guess they could have worded it differently, but I think we need to realize that what is obvious to us, is not always obvious to the average viewer who hasn't read the book or researched any events.
It was a rhetorical question, and it was an accusation.
The end.

Exactly. Which makes that argument stupid

Exactly how the frick are people this stupid
I know mini Ned looked like he may be somewhat mentally challenged, but I don't think he is that dumb to not be able to ask a rhetorical question

To be fair, this thread is discussing the political motivations of a pro stark house while the Hodor thread is currently discussing if Lyanna was fricking her brother Benjen and that Jon snow is their son.

I'm a Hodor in the sense that I haven't read the books yet but I read the book readers thread because i enjoy the perspective and it makes the show a better watch. I like the fan theories and to see the differences between the book and show.

I would really like a 7 on 7 trial by combat like in the Old days
