1. I got the impression that he was trying to show Jamie that he can't be intimidated
2. Not sure they have a point anymore since they don't even have a leader, but they are all still bound by oaths (sans Jon, Onion Knight, Red witch and the Wildlings)

Yes, I was talking about Sansa/Brienn/Pod. I know they don't know he's there, but you never know.
I'm pretty sure John knows nothing.

I remember seeing that right after it was posted and thought "Am I seriously in the minority thinking that episode was great??"

I think a double helping of young witch titties would go a long way in righting this terrible wrong.
Man, in the face the young witch looks like she's too old to have such incredible, gravity defying tits. Could they perhaps be a set of REALLY nice bolt ons?

South and a bit east. It would be like leaving Lake Charles then going through Vicksburg to get to Little Rock.
Depending on how fast things move on one or both stories they could well meet up along the road when/if Jon goes to re-take Winterfell (which he should once he realizes his death fulfilled his oath to the Night's Watch).

It has to be something more significant than that. He seemed slow in the flashback. I'm guessing he saw something traumatic.
Maybe the Lord of Light gave him a vision of the naked-old-lady version of Melisandre

Not a reader, so these are just guesses
I think he's about to wreak havoc on the Sparrows.
In theory, once the wars end in Westeros, their numbers could go back up a lot with members of defeated houses, an honorable alternative to being executed or assassinated.
Now, that doesn't take into account the coming Winter... but that's the operating model of how it works. They just happen to be very depleted at the worst possible time.
Makes you wonder if one of the influence-peddlers that started all this up (Varys? Little Finger?) might actually be in league with the White Walkers... something I hadn't considered before. But the Wall is ultimately far more important than all the politics south of it. Someone, somewhere, might be aware of that, and be creating an opportunity for the attack.
quote:I think the High Sparrow was trying to show he's tough, and might try to make a move on Jaime. But Jaime's a different target, he isn't a woman or a gay playboy. They could kill him, but I don't think they can take him alive. And I don't think he's scared.
1. Is The High Sparrow trying to arrest Jamie or just scare him?

2. What's the point of The Watch now?

I'm thinking its imevitable that Jon retakes the North and he and Sansa are reunited. But what about after that? What's Jon's move after that?
Be named Warden in the North and recall all the North bannermen to his cause in fighting the White Walkers? Will he tell LF about them?
Seems like once Jon finally retakes Winterfell, there's still a lot of work to be done to rally everyone to fight the White Walkers.

Two surprise deaths, Ramsey being the maniac he is, dragons, Max Von Sydow, and Jon Snow has been revived

I feel like once an army of giant undead ice zombies really start to move in south of the wall, and the snow & ice spread further and further south, the rallying will take care of itself
at some point, their back will be up against the wall, and at the 11th hour super skank and dwarf will come flying in on the dragons to save the day, breathing fire, destroying the ice zombies

not sure why this is an issue, but -
German guy in the avengers: Kenneth Tigar, a lifetime character actor who has acted in many many roles
Max Von Sydow is a completely different person. 3 Eye Raven, Lor Tekka in Star Wars, Lamar in Minority Report, and a few hundred other roles

I almost don't want to say this can't happen, but this can't happen. Rickon's sole reason for being in GoT at all is so that he can produce a male heir for House Stark.

I'm going to go off an assumption that dragon fire is somehow different than regular ole fire, when it comes to killing the walkers. And it'll be that unearthed discovery that saves the day
-or....the dragons mass produce "dragon glass"

Just came by to say that that the resurrection of Jon Snow is the lamest thing that's ever happened on GOT. It's Fonzi jumping the shark. They should just sew Ned's head back on and chant a little bit and bring him back. Everyone who's dead should just come back.
