I don't even try and fool myself, I just read any spoiler that pops up. I have no self control.

But if it plays out like that reads, it'll definitely make up for last week's ho-hum episode. I am psyched...even though I've probably been spoiled.

Fwiw the guy that I got the spoilers from was right 2 days before the first episode came out as well. He usually post videos on Fridays.

Don't beat yourself up about it. Nothing could have saved the Dorne plotline.

Like I've said 5000 times already, Dorne wasn't good in the books and was even shittier in the show. All these book fan boys pretending that Dorne was some amazing storyline in the books have memory issues. The only Dornish character worth a shite in either was Oberyn.

I see where spoilers started getting posted on page 8, some without warnings. I'm guessing this thread is no longer safe to read until after the show now.

Dorne and the Ironborn were awful, tedious additions to an already complicated plot line. Seems the producers are simply cutting to the chase. Although, I think they could have gotten to the same place without killing Dorian and Hotah.

Yeah. That kind of took me by surprise too. I've read the books so I'm cool with book spoilers but I should have known better and been on the lookout for (potential) leak spoilers.

Oh, and regarding the Manderlys - yeah, in the book they definitely pretend to be on the Bolton side to protect a son or sons in captivity (by the Lanisters I think who are still aligned with the Boltons in the books). Some similar betrayal of the Boltons by a supposed ally and a bit of Frey pie are some of the things I'm really hoping to see in the show - more thatn Arya seeing through the cat eye too.
