yet it did what they needed it to do. He went in to burn the food stores and cripple their horse advantage and he did both.
Except now Stannis has a wealth of frozen dead horse meat for food. Brilliant attack Ramsey.

but a lot less horses to ride. Ramsey accomplished what he wanted, he forced Stannis off horseback. Not sure why that would be a huge advantage in a siege but they seemed worried over the war table.

I like his character, but I am a little annoyed that Ramsey is some unstoppable badass at all times.
Again, why did those dipshit Greyjoys allow him to stand around without armor and just open up the dog kennels?

True. Ramsey probably doesn't know Stannis is backed by the Iron Bank either which basically makes Stannis daddy war bucks. However, since he sent Davos to barter with the watch for horses and food, it may be a sign his funds have been depleted, but I doubt it.

I did, Jorah offered her his hand and she took it. At the very least she will let him fight for her again when she invades Westeros. I feel like they are merging her storyline with Aegon and Jorah will be playing the part of Jon Connington.

It appears that Danny has some type of mind link with the dragons and i think she realized it in this episode. If you notice before drogon shows up she closes her eyes and appears to be calling to him telepathically. Same sort of thing when she tells him to fly.

I was hoping a Bravossi banker would show up with soldiers and goods first.
But the banker was too busy meeting with the Tenor from Highgarden and his child molesting guard.

Eh, D&D said in the extra stuff that there is some connection between the Targs and their dragons, but that scene was more about showing that Dany had finally given in to her death right before Drogon arrived.

Both things are deplorable, one is not any more excusable than the other.
I don't see how anyone can call having sex with your wife on your wedding night (where she never says no) is as evil as burning a little girl alive.
One is uncomfortable for a few minutes and the other actually kills you.

Leave it be. It's done. Let's not get into all that shite again

Yep, they said something like she was finding a moment a peace before death.
It's a split second when she closes her eyes and he showed up. She didn't "call" him

But I think Drogon definitely sensed/knew that she was in danger, which is why he showed up when he did.

Didn't he show up in the books because he smelled so much blood from the fighting pits?

I always jump in 50 pages too late but, this was another meh episode for me.
I was holding on to the fact that Arya's story was still pretty solid. But this episode pissed me off on where they went with it.
The burning Shireen scene was tuff. I forget how they said it now but on the aftershow, the producer/director said that when George told him about this scene it blew his mind. Or something to that effect. So im guessing thats a spoiler for the book? Or am I getting what he said mixed up with another part?

Yeah it's a spoiler for the book but some in this thread are still in denial about that

The red priestess returns to the wall after being sent back after Stannis refuses to sacrifice Shireen (or make sex with her as a hodor in the hodor threat thought) just in time to revive him.
