I hope so. That was so disturbing to me. I really need a good Silicon Valley episode to recover.

So does stannis think horses and food will fall out of the sky now that he burned his daughter alive?
Also, hes sending the pink letter in the show.

Not even close. It isn't the burning that disturbs me, it is Stannis going along with it to further his ambitions. The worst thing that has happened on the show.

Wouldn't be so sure that you never see anything like that in the books.
Stannis burning his child alive? No you don't see anything like that.

You're certain he never will? Don't be.

The act was more terrible. But the actual execution of it made me feel way more uneasy about the Sansa scene other than Shireen.
Sorry bro but you lose this one. You are more vested in Sansa the character then Shirren the character, BUT murdering your own daughter with her begging for her life by fire is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy worse then Sansa's rape and it is not even close. Real question do you have a kid?

I found the Sansa rape to be more unsettling, probably because I am desensitized to fricked up shite by this point, but both still really fricked up.

It's especially terrifying for two reasons:
1) I expect Ramsay to do some shite like he has done. He's supposed to be an awful fricking character. Stannis up until this point, while he's done some not so savory things, has generally tread a "good" line. Especially with his redemption of Davos. Him burning his daughter, that he clearly cared for, just makes him look incredibly desperate. And especially awful. I hate how it changes things for his character compared to the books.
2) Melisandre gives no fricks as long as she gets what she wants in the name of the Lord of Light. Right now, she's no better than The Others.

I'm really not gonna argue all night about this. We disagree, that's about it

He's lost before because he didn't listen to the witch. He's now grasping at straws.

I have other personal connections to the Sansa storyline that I would like not to talk about.

The unsullied are really underwhelming.

Let's not get into this again. But marriage does not exclude rape.

in a world where they have a bedding ceremony after a wedding where the guest get the bride & groom undressed and ready to go at it.. wedding night sex ain't rape

You didn't answer my very simple question. Sorry for the personal issues. No need to hash them out here.

Rape is horrible, but watching a child burn to death tops the things of fricked up things
Posted on 6/7/15 at 9:13 pm to wildtigercat93
The show officially jumped the shark tonight. Killing just for the sake of killing. D&D are fricking terrible
