Does Littlefinger actually get the Vale armies involved against the Lannisters or is that just a ploy to get Robin out training and doing dangerous shite that might get him killed because he's a dolt.
One way or the other the end game of his plan is to have Robin sleeping with the fishes. Perhaps he will use Robin to lead his army into some sort of suicidal attack that will benefit LF or perhaps he will just have him killed in training.

Found a gif for the head explosion scene. I watched it and decided not to post it. It would probably get me banned.
I don't think I ever want to see that again.

I must say, last night's episode IMo was BY FAR THE BEST episode of this season...so intense from beginning to end.
-Wildling attack (not normally into the Wildling storyline, but that attack was well done), Sansa/Littlefinger awesomeness (OMG, this is getting good with these 2), Khalisi banishing her most trusted advisor (so sad, so sad), and of course the shocking Trial by death (holy-F-in-shite unexpected ending).
awesome, awesome, awesome episode beginning to end. Totally "changed my mind" after the LSU-Houston debacle.

I agree. FINALLY some movement with the abysmal Dany storyline. I predict her firing of Jorah will come back to bite her in the arse.
One thing I've learned is that George RR Martin seems to be a master of exposing a strong character's glaring weakness. Ned, Oberyn, Robb, Catelyn. I think we were let in on a couple of the most impenetrable characters' weaknesses last night. Littlefinger's appears to be Sansa. Dany's is her pride and power.

Just my prediction, but I think at some point (most likely at the very last second possible) PROOF will arise that Tyrion had nothing to do with Joffrey's murder and he will be aquitted. Either someone will come forward and admit guilt or something along those lines, providing undisputable proof of his innocence.
Dog talking about "poison is a woman's weapon" makes me think that's gonna be something coming up very soon.

I will say this show is good about not falling into the trap of indestructible fight scenes most shows and movies do.
When someone gets hit with a square punch from bare fist to the jaw by a strong man, their jaw breaks, they often loose teeth and they dont just pop up. I get so tired of guys just trading bare knuckle punches for minutes at a time in TV/movies. The punch from the Mountain is much more like what it looks like IRL.

Is that surprising? They've been together side-by-side since season 1

Oberyn can still be revived by the brotherhood without banners

As with most of the across the sea scenes I just grit my teeth and try to stay awake until the scene is over and they go back to something interesting

Maybe Oberyn will come back as a white walker?

no
I believe they said in season 3 that there are just some wounds they can not heal, or something along those lines.
Arya asked Thoros is they could resurrect a man with no head (her father, Eddard) and he told her not likely.

Me too. It was completely over when he got punched. Then the depression set in and solidified as the life was sucked out of him and he screamed like a little girl.

Amazing episode just watched it this AM. Man it's a chore dodging all the spoilers the day after.
SIAP
But if the Mountain is dead too wouldn't Tyrion be acquitted?
The fight scene was bad arse! Oberyn had some sick bowstaff skills until his face got destroyed.
Haven't felt that sorry for a GoT character since Ned stark had to kill Lady.
