They gave no indication that the spear was poisoned whatsoever all the hodors will think that guy was just polishing the blade
Also someone needs to post the post head smash photo....it's grotesque

Couch Tuner needs to hurry up.

Most of them see to think he's gone. I didn't really like the rest of the episode but the Sansa scenes were great and so was the dismissal of Jorah.

It's bannable stuff I'd imagine.

They're just now realizing how much of a cruel a-hole GRRM is (even after the RW).

I was so pissed reading that part in the book. I couldn't believe he killed him.

This was a death that always pissed me off in the books. It pissed me off even more to see it.

After seeing it in the episode, yep, pissed all over again just like when I read it. Damn it Oberyn

They did the fight well. I was a little worried at all the twirlly stuff in the previews but they incorporated it into the fight well.
It wasn't exactly like the book with him finding little openings in the armor and the poison doing a lot of the work but that would have been hard to portray clearly I guess.

Is it weird that I've never even cracked one of the books open and love the shite out the spoilers thread?

I wanted to see the Mountain hack off the arm of a spectator.

Great episode but fricking Dany bullshite should've been left out the episode.
Also is next episode strictly Castle Black like Blackwater was a full episode? Ygritte dying is going to have me really sad next episode.
Oberyn scene was awesome but I wish it was 2-5 minutes longer. So gruesome. frick the Mountain. The Elia lines were great and flawless. Pedro Pascal has a long career ahead of him.

As mad as y'all were after E4.

They want everyone who guessed double death to be banned even though the mountain technically hasn't died

For the review.
Yeah, the fight wasn't quite as good as it was in the books with the Mountain taking off a civilian's head and the fact that we don't know who the frick the Mountain is really, but it was as good as I could have expected it. I'm sure I wasn't the only Maester here who was repeating Oberyn's words as he said them.
This episode has effectively gotten us ahead of what we know of Sansa's arc in the series, and now gives me the utmost confidence that LF will have his army in WoW and use it to take out the Twins, and we may even get that next season. He's clearly using Sansa and the Lords of the Vale to get them united around a revived Stark Dynasty and to get them to secede from the Lannister reign.
Sam is clarified as an idiot for putting Gilly in Mole Town.
I love how Arya starts laughing manically when she gets to the Vale. I'd start doing the same in her situation.
I liked Dany's part for once. First off we finally get to see the crown jewel of GoT chicks naked, Missandre.
Secondly, I like how they ended Jorah with Dany. Makes sense that Tywin would do that and make sure it was handed to Barristan. I hope we don't see Dany again, but wouldn't mind a cliffhanger of Drogon killing off that kid we saw earlier and that he's run off.
Really liked how they did Reek in this episode. Finally a bit of payoff for the amount of torture they've put him through.
But I don't know how they're going to sum all this up in two episodes. I think they wrapped up Reek and Sansa (and maybe Dany), but all the other characters still have a bit to go. With next episode apparently being solely focused on the Wall (although I'm hoping Tyrion kills Tywin in that episode), it's going to be a ton to sum up in the final episode.

Couch Tuner wasn't this slow even after the RW.
