I like littlefinger but I don't get why some here think he has the most power. Tywin Lannister clearly does in my opinion. I get that LF has made a lot of moves and has tricked a lot of people. But that doesn't give him more power than anybody. He certainly has some awesome quotes and is trying to get that power. But Tywin is the man at the moment. .

I agree with all of this. Tywin is still the most powerful, but LF is up there due to his connection with the Tyrells and being in the Eyrie.

Little Finger is the Dany of Westeros

They are the only two in the series that have been on a straight positive slope towards the throne

Both started with little or nothing and in short order have made themselves into a threat for the crown (whether the crown knows it or not).

Tywin on the other hand has peaked a bit now that theres so much turmoil for the crown he controls, they just fought a war, and they replaced all their gold with mounds of debt.

Now i dont see anyway Little finger makes it all the way to the throne, but he deserves some credit

No fricking way. Dany hasn't really done jack shite, at least in terms of the throne (which she now isn't even worried about anymore). At least LF is making plays and getting shite done. All Dany is doing is briefly liberating slaves (until they lose the cities back to their masters/owners). And if she didn't have dragons, she'd still be walking around with an army of about 15 people. Not to mention that she can't really control her dragons that well either.

If she ever gets her slow arse to Westeros, then she could be on the "positive slope toward the crown" or whatever, but she's specifically stated now that she will just be queen and rule Slaver's Bay for the time being.

On that note though, we need to see more dragon this season. I think they're really well done on this show.

Maybe ATM, but he's broke, so as it currently stands his power is fleeting.

His power has always had a direct correlation to his bank account.

Old Lady Tyrell knows he's borrowing too much, so I doubt they want/need the Lannisters around if Margery becomes Queen again (if she marries Tommen).

He's not broke by any means. They're just not mining any more gold. But they still have lots of wealth. shite, the crown itself is basically invaluable, and the Lannisters "own" that. Not to mention K'sL, Casterly Rock, etc.

They are far from broke.

The problem would arise if the IBoB comes and wants its debts repaid immediately. And even if that happens (which is what I assume is one of Stannis's angles), I think they could pay off most of it, especially with Tyrell assistance.

Gained an army, and a following and three dragons and grown into a leader since the show started. Thats progress from the shy chick that was sold to Drago by her brother

Little finger was out of the picture for a while too. I dont think Dany comes until the White Walkers do

I wouldn't say he was holier than thou. He was one of the only lords that wasn't power crazed, and was going to expose Joffrey for being a Lannister inbred and crown Stannis. His character was a breath of fresh air for me.

He couldve done that without being an idiot and telling Cercei because it was the honorable thing to do

You dont have to be a power crazed lord to not be a dumbass and get you whole family slaughtered basically

I couldn't help but laugh and also cringe at this part. She's effectively accomplished nothing other than holding slavers bay at the moment.

They'll be in the next episode. Hopefully burning muthafrickas alive.
