Now that Robb is dead, Sansa thinks she is the last Stark child (other than Jon, and she probably hasn't had much news of him, either). There's no telling what she's thinking, now.

With Joffrey's death, I wonder if she'll bounce back some...

I think she's broken. And the longer she remains broken, the more desensitized she becomes to everything. However, because of that, I think she could ultimately become stronger...sort of like a "what doesn't kill you.." kind of thing. I definitely think Joffrey's death will both traumatize her as well as rejuvinate her, because ultimately as much as she hated Joffrey, she was dying to be queen, and was willing to put up with all of the bullshite if it meant she could have that power.

I'm interested to see how she changes after all of this. shite, she might even become interesting for a change.

I don't think the Starks can thrive outside of the North - she may be the most "Tully" of the crew, but I think that's part of it - although it hasn't been all wine and roses for Jon - look at how well he did beyond the wall - likewise, Bran's now going beyond the wall for his big adventure.

Remember how Ned's demeanor completely changed when he arrived at King's Landing? There is something to the regional attachment - although the females appear to be more adaptable.

And it extends to others - Stannis is at Dragonstone, the somewhat alien Targaryean structure, and now he's completely embraced this foreign, alien religion.

Speaking of which, obviously the Lord of Light is a metaphor for a monotheistic Judeo/Christian/Islam type of faith coming in behind the "new Gods" (a Greek/Roman style pantheon) and the "old" (either Norse or, more likely, Celtic Pagan - some sort of animism). Even more interesting is that the red lady plays more like a druidic or pagan figure, than the Septons.

The key point is that Sansa hasn't been the same since Lady was killed.

Obviously there is a spiritual connection between the children and their wolves. Sansa lost hers. I think the killing of lady was a sign of her losing the Stark "blood/power". I don't see her bouncing back.

Thoughts on this episode.

The Martells like to party: wife said "of course those two would head straight the chick with her twat in the air". Oberyn and Loris also did some eye pillow biting.

Poison is a chick weapon. During the episode I thought it was Sansa when she picked up the cup (ala Justified it was in there before the wine). Now I'm not sure. I believe it's one of 3 people, Sansa, maw maw, or Cersei. I'm not sure what maw maw's motive is but Sansa and Cersei both have tons of motive.

The Fool may or may not be involved. He owes Sansa and maybe he just noticed what was going down and figured if Tyrion was blamed so would Sansa.

In honor of Shae's annoying arse supposedly leaving Kings Landing I watched a 5 minute clip of her doing anal.

I don't know if that helps or hurts our theories.

Did Granny try to frame Sansa?

Did Granny even take the crystal or did Sansa sell it in exchange for a hit?

Or did Joffrey just die because the pie really was that dry?

So many questions.

I have not rewatched the entire episode, just the last few minutes with the cup, but that explains the whole jewelry scene from last week. Grandma offed Joffrey. Only question remains is how deep does it go and who else was in on it besides her and the fool.

Sansa and new queen have been scissoring behind the scenes for weeks. Lesbehonest, it would be awesome.
