yes but sansa picked up the cup and handed it to Tyrion who then pours wine into. Joff doesnt drink it from it bc he wants tyrion to kneel. oh look the cake, cup goes down cuts the cake then goes back to the wine

So she threw the poison diamond in the goblet from where she was sitting? She is never close enough to the goblet to drop poison in. She is sitting at an entirely different table. You should rewatch the scene, that YouTube video was all chopped up.
She's still no more than a few feet away. It would take two seconds to drop it in.
Seriously, all the slight of hand shite in movies and TV and THIS shocks you?

Could the Maester have potentially saved Joffrey with some sort of antidote if he were present?
Also it's kind of you smelt it you dealt it situation. ..the one who immediately accuses (cersei) another (tyrion) is often the one who did it.

Maybe but seemed the damage was done either way

She never gets close enough to drop it in and she is sitting at a different table. Like I said, rewatch the entire scene. She is more than "a few feet away."

I cant believe it is not already there. I watched the episode like 45 mins late or so so I was expecting a crazy thread and was only like 10 pages or so when I got in. Pretty shocked it was that low

Cersei poisoning her own son seems out there, even for her. The only reason Id say its even a remote possibility is because she still has Tommen to crown.
Still seems too farfetched, and it doesn't explain all the links to Olenna.

Vary says he serves the realm...but why do it at Joffrey s wedding?
It's so terrible to kill at weddings in this world it makes me think that this was done at the wedding specifically as revenge for the Starks. ..the minstrel music being the same as at the freys makes me think this too.

But you don't see her while Joffrey is hacking at the pie.

completely agree.
and yeah not even Cersei is bad enough for that. but then again........
I just dont see where she could have done that

Yes you do. She stands up with everyone, he chops the pie, and she sits back down. It even shows the table where the goblet is sitting when the birds fly up in the air and Olenna is still at her table.
Do you have a way to rewatch that scene?

But Sansa is the only person there who would be interested in avenging the Starks in any meaningful way. If it was revenge for the Starks, someone not present has to be behind the scenes calling the shots and making deals with others. I think Varys might be involved but I don't see any reason for him to be interested in avenging the Starks. Littlefinger is the only other guy with those kind of connections and he is only out for himself and has a fancy new gig thanks to the Lannisters.
I just don't see this being about the Starks.

Yeh...not saying it was cersei
The more I think about it...the more questions I have.
Veras might have known and just let it happen for the good of the realm.

I guess I just didn't notice her, either way though it doesn't change that she seems to clearly be implicated here.

The fact that it happens at the wedding I think is meaningful. In this world it's a big deal to kill at a wedding (they say it several times)

seriously,
At first it was so cut and dry for me but after thinking about it my mind is spinning
