Cliffs notes on why this is 29 pages?
No LSH. That's it

The biggest gripe I had about the episode is the five minutes they spent on the hound/brienne fight scene (which was well done but not needed). They could have used that time and made one last amazing Tyrion/tywin scene to send off the character.
I'm not mad they left out stone heart, in fact, I kind of wished they had slowed down the episodes a bit and put in more content. At this point it makes no difference if they are trying to do seasons to books when they have a lot jumbled up anyway.

IMO Brienne letting Arya slip through her fingers will have implications next season when she meets Stoneheart...especially since Brienne vowed to bring her daughters back to her.

IMO my favorite thing about this episode was Mel looking into the flames and seeing Jon on the other side. BRILLIANT
That was a really good moment in the episode. I liked all the Jon/Mel scenes in the book and look forward to how the actors handle those scenes.

Cliffs notes on why this is 29 pages? Is OLM butthurt or something again?
Not as much as last week.

I agree with everything you have said in here. As awesome as A Storm of Swords is, I think the show really fricked it up this season. I told every Hodor I know before the season started that this would be the greatest season of tv ever. Boy was I wrong.
This season dragged in places and was boring sometimes. Then they rushed through VERY important storylines like Sansa/LF, Tyrion in the cells and his trial, etc etc.
To me the show is getting worse. I know a bunch of people rag on AFFC and aDwD but they are really great books and I don't think they suck or are boring. I enjoyed them just as much if not more than the first three. So I don't look forward to the show deviating from the books as much even though I know some is needed in any adaptation.
Based on the things that D&D have done on their own and how they've completely ruined aSoS on screen I can say we better all hope they don't beat GRRM to the end because they will screw it up big time

my gripe with that is that they have been hinting for the last 3 episodes that the Hound's bite wound was going to get infected and him get sick...which would have been in line with the books, then all of a sudden Brienne shows up and kicks his arse to really finish him "off"
just seemed unnecessary
I did like the scene though

I just like it that Tyrion killed Tywin over Tysha, and the "Wherever Whores Go"
He clearly killed him over Shae, who replaced Tysha.
Yall are crazy and completely overreacting. That was a fantastic episode. Best finale of the series and a top 3 episode.

Yeah, but fricking Shae, while still atrocious, wasn't as bad as having his wife gang rapped by the entire household guard and having Tyrion finish her off. To find out that that was completely a lie I think is what justifies it. At least bring up that, since I think that was worse than what Tywin did to Tyrion this season. And if you say "he killed him over Shae", why was he up there in the first place?

Cersei letting Qyburn work on the future Ser Robert Strong was a great scene. She is really starting to show her batshit crazy nature and it's going to be great to watch next season

Exactly. My favorite part was the Braavosi ship captain seeing the coin that Arya had. She had no idea exactly how valuable it was until that moment.

When Jaime throws her letter into the fire

Well what happens when/if Tyrion finds Tysha in the next book? Just keep getting further and further away from Tyrion's story

Like I said, tywin has been a really powerful character masterfully portrayed in the show. I hate to send him off with a halfassed effort of a great book scene. When another two minutes could have had a huge impact on future shows and books.

This was my reaction when I read that in Feast:

The excerpt that OMLandshark posted from aSoS of the dialouge between Tyrion and Tywin was just incredible

I really enjoyed feast over dance. I'm thinking ill recap, books 1-3 on tower of the hand. Then reread feast and dance the boiled way and hopefully twow will be out by then.

I really don't think a single line of that should have been changed. Obviously Shae's had to be since she was much different from the novels, but Tywin/Tyrion's, see no reason to change anything in it.
