I personally never liked Ygritte and can't wait to see her die which seems to be the general consensus here.
I swear to myself that I'm not crazy when I believe the book readers on this board unfairly hate all of the female characters in ASOIAF.
Catelyn
Danny
Ygritte
Sansa
Cersei
All I see is constant bitching about all of them.
The only main one everyone seems like is Arya probably because she is a tomboy.
In conclusion, this board is sexist.

GRRM is sexist towards women.

The only one of those I really hate is Catelyn. And, of course, Cersei in a you-are-supposed to hate her or love-to-hate-her- kind of way.
I like Ygritte and Danny. Sansa is just blah although I never really did forgive her for not taking up for Arya with that whole butcher's boy fiasco in S1.
I also like Margary and Brienne, Shireen,, and going beyond the show to the books, many more including - all the Mormont women, the Manderly girl who spoke up, and especially Septa Lemore (I'm old enough to be looking forward to them including her bathing scenes off the flatboat down the road).

After finishing feast I am on team Sansa now. I think little-finger is going to turn her into a tricky redheaded bitch to deal with in the game.

I never disliked Cat like many on this board seem to. She was just doing what she thought she could to protect her children. It just ended up being a stupid approach. What she has become with UnCat though is scary and needs to die though.
Danny's entitlement just starts to annoy me. That's the only thing that really bothers me about her. Her lust after Daario was a bit much, but I can handle it.
Ygritte was one of my favorite characters in the books. Something about how she is portrayed in the show rubs me the wrong way though.
Sansa is pretty neutral, and it looks like she might be poised to start kicking some arse.
I fricking hate Cersei. I hate Cersei more than I hate Joffrey. It was a serious chore for me to get through her POV chapters. I was very happy to see were suffering when she was held captive by the Septon. It makes me happy to read of her suffering.

Just needs to GTFO of Slavers Bay, I don't hate her

Was just always a side character to me, Jon's romance doesn't intrigue me, I want him to rule shite

Sansa
Her chapters are just generally boring, they are picking up though

Obviously, I hate her

Cersei is meant to be hated, not sure why you included that crazy bitch in this list.
Cat and Sansa are annoying characters, not sure why you find this hard to see.
Dany has been hated and loved in equal measure by most. it's mostly because of Mereen and GRRM's shitastic writing of her during ADWD that everyone is annoyed by her now. Dany was one of my favorites pre ADWD.
I always liked Ygritte however, just like I like Osha, Asha, Meera, Arianne, Val, all the Mormont she-bears, the sand snakes, The fierce Manderly daughter, Brienne when she's not a POV character, and Arya.
Choosing the most annoying female characters in ASOIAF to say people are sexist is just plain silly.

Either that or he's trying to be clever, and failing miserably.

Because when you read female characters you have to put up with their bullshite without even having boobs to look at in compensation.

This recap wasn't as good as usual really. I liked the Ser Eli Roth bit with Bran, Rickon, and Osha, and of course Hodor.
"I saw this one with Old Nan, she was into some sick shite."

I had a moment of OCD panic after a posted that comment wondering if I posted in the right thread.
I would never see the light of day if I didn't.
Never considered it from a perspective wandering into the wrong thread.
That sucks though, most of what I said was in "reference code" except for the obvious episode 9 next season: Tywin dying.

Cersei is my favorite female character. I like her even more on the show.

I should have joined these threads earlier this season. It's gold, like Tywin Lannister's shite.

I love Old Nan. I wish she were in the show more often. GRRM could write a book called "Old Nan's stories" based on her crazy stories that the Starks always ramble about and I'd buy it.

Yeah, no kidding on that with the book idea. If the lady who played Old Nan hadn't died after filming season one I'm sure they would have had her in the show in season two a good bit.
