Well, the Rains of Castamere has to be the Red Wedding episode, right?
Mhysa is probably going to be a very Dany heavy episode where she is probably wrecking shite in slaver bay. Also, we likely see Tyrion tell his wife about her brother and mother's fate.

really not sure where Purple wedding fits. guessing its gotta be episode 10
My guess would be first episode of season 4 but pushing back the justice would boarder-line violate the 8th amendment.

The Purple Wedding is going to happen late in the 4th season. Probably 8th or 9th episode

4th Season probably but it would be early huh?

If they don't follow the Red Wedding to the tee, the internet might melt from all the rage.

the red wedding is chapter 50, joffrey kicks the bucket in ch 61. this season will be epic but i feel like season 4 will be alot of filler to make a whole season from aprox 20 chapters
Posted on 4/1/13 at 11:26 pm to CE Tiger
Oh there is plenty of stuff involving Tyrion and Arya in those 20 chapters to keep people happy. Jaime becomes more and more likable and Tywin and Cersei become more and more detestable.
Plus they have Stannis, Snow, Sam, etc at the wall with the new Lannister lackeys. Jon becoming Lord Snow.
I really hope the show tries to keep Joffrey's murderer a secret so people can speculate whether it was Sansa, Tyrion, etc.
We also finally get the revelation that Littlefinger deserves to die and I hope he burns in hell for causing this whole mess.

Are you sure? I remember reading both in one night and I don't sit still long enough to read 11 chapters in a row. I only read on the shitter, as a rule.

Bad constipation that night. Ouch.

yeah, that would be a mess.
I mean all this has to happen in Kings Landing from the time Joffrey dies to the end of the season:
-Tyrion arrested for murder
-Sansa escapes with Littlefinger
-Jaime takes his Kingsguard duties more seriously; refuses his fathers offer to be absolved of his vows and become ruler of Casterly rock
-Bronn refuses to stand as Tyrions champion in a trial by combat
-Shae betrays Tyrion in court
-The Red Viper and the Mountain duel for Tyrion's fate
-Jaime is getting his arse handed to him trying to fight left-handed
-King Tommen legetimizes Ramsey Snow and the Boltons become Warden's of the North
-Fake Arya is sent to Winterfell to marry Ramsey Bolton
-Brienne is given the reforged Stark sword and sent by Jaime to find the Stark girls to fulfill their promise to Cat
-Jaime and Varys rescue Tyrion
-Tyrion kills Tywin and Shae
(Hell, I can just imagine the final line in episode 9 that season to be "Tywin Lannister did not, in the end, shite gold")
That's just King's Landing. I would think that Joff's death would have to be no later than episode 5

Small problem I had was why keep Sam from releasing the Ravens? He did in the book and even though he shamed himself in the battle at the Fist he at least took care of his one job. Not sure why they would take that away from his character.
Posted on 4/2/13 at 9:01 am to Mr. Wayne
He released the ravens with no notes attached in the book. Sam's character is pretty pathetic right now, will make it even better when he becomes Sam the slayer

Yeah, I expect Season 4 to be heavily, heavily Jon Snow centric. But I don't see how they won't get into alot of AFFC and ADWD. I can see the season ending with Jon becoming Lord Commander, Arya starting with the Faceless Men, Tyrion agreeing to join Dany, and Cersei burning down the Tower of the Hand.
