Thanks for letting me know that Theon is the best archer in the series. I don't think the show ever told us that, so I'm glad you clarified that for all of us morons.

So does that now constitute as a spoiler?

Cocomo might consider it one

Probably not, but its entirely unnecessary and the stuff that we have explicitly requested multiple times not to be brought to this thread.

I didn't know that Theon was the best archer ever in Westeros, but now I certainly do.

That's exactly what the other thread is for.

As annoyed as I am with the people in this thread freaking out, they obviously do not want background info being provided from the book. No, it is not a spoiler, but they are asking not to provide these types of details. Why? I have no idea, but we should respect that.

As for the illiterates, you may want to find a new leader, as Cocomo apparently doesn't even pay attention to this show at all.

He knows who the book readers are, and makes no qualms with calling them out. I've been able to answer most of his questions, so I'm fine with him taking up the spear.

this season kicks arse and i love the character development

Jaime is my favorite character and it saddens me that hes without a hand now. i hope he can get better but this isnt star wars, i doubt he will have a Luke mechanical hand any time soon

I don't know, but I never got into Jamie. I actually liked it when he lost his hand, because I feel like it sets him up for great character development.

Someone give Jamie a hand. And give me a better pun that probably hasn't been said a dozen times.

Did NOT see the hand removal thing coming.

Man. Jamie is never going to get to fight anyone properly again. Goody for him.

Few things I noticed too last night. The scene with the Fire Priestess and Stannis. Guess she was telling him she was going to go get knocked up by one of his relatives. He took that better than most. Also looked like her hair wasnt as red as it normally was. Wonder if this is something that changes with how powerful she is or something

Thought the same things. She was like "Your fire is burning weak" or some such shite, and he didn't say anything. I was like "Bitch, my fire is fricking fiya, now come here so I can sire a son."

Also, about the bow and arrow scene in the opening..couldn't help but think of how many funerals go off without the body being burned because some asshat can't hit it with the arrow. Or maybe someone being a smartass and being like "Nah, not yet..." and letting it get too far and then missing. It's like that kid when you were a kid and throwing football...you go out for a pass and he tells you to "keep going" like five times, then when he finally throws it, it goes like 50 feet and he looks like a fig.

I thought it was great because it is probably the only time that I have ever seen the archer miss in TV/Movies while doing that type of funeral

Oh frick you. I pay attention, but still miss things (even obvious things). I've never admitted otherwise.

And OML posting that isn't a spoiler, but it's definitely information that he knows as a bookreader that we don't want in this thread. How can you (general you, to the bookreaders) not understand that we don't want or need that kind of information in these threads? We don't need a reader letting us know that Theon is the best archer in the series, and we've said as much a hundred times. But here you all still are, giving us that kinda shite and "helping us out." fricking hilariously sad.

ETA: and it has nothing to do with spoilers, but rather outside information in general (which I've now said (and others) at least ten times).

It's not indisputable. The guy with the bow who just met up with Arya may be better and is also legendary with his bow.

You either skip over non-readers complaints, don't give a frick about them, or can't stop yourself from showing off your book knowledge,

That's true, but it sucks that we never got to see how awesome he really was outside of a couple of scenes (that the fights were short-lived).
