So now a third party talking a girl into marrying someone constitutes rape?

Yeah, I can just imagine Reek up on a witness stand. I bet the jury will really be buying his testimony.

I think people are still under the false assumption that LF gives a shite about Sansa and her safety
no, y'all just under the assumption that we think LF would've just let her say no. that really doesn't matter because she said yes and that's the relevant part of our stance

but if it were a modern court case, dude would be convicted.

And...the dragons would not exist
the dude that cut off another guy's fingers would be imprisoned
the White Walkers would be in trouble for killing the "black" dudes....wait...scratch that one

Anyway....are you watching this FANTASY and arguing modern law?

yeeesh.

This Sansa saw her dad's head cut off, found out her brother and mother were murdered, was told (and believes) her two younger brothers were BURNED to death, was married off to a dwarf...

Yet, she got dicked by her HUSBAND and THAT is where we draw the line???

EDITED the 'sons' to "brothers"

"Yes, Mr. Greyjoy, but what is your name?"

That wasn't really meant to be about the rape discussion

Good point, but if he were to tell the truth, Ramsay would be licking maple syrup out of a black man's a-hole by the end of the week.

How many more times does Ramsey have to clean him up and tell him to "pretend" to be Theon Greyjoy before you believe he can pull it off?

Yes. But, she HAS to SAY "no". She can't just not want it. She needs to SAY IT!!!!

And to be clear, I'm ok with the portrayed rape. I hope the writers use it to cut Sansa's character loose. The last vestiges of her innocence were pounded out of her when Ramsay took her against her will...

But, that's enough of that. I think it was a rape, you don't. No worries.

I'm not saying that because LF conned her into marrying Ramsey constitutes rape. I'm just saying that it wasn't her idea to marry Ramsey, and in reality she had no say in the matter. Also, Sansa had absolutely no idea at the depravity of Ramsey when that conversation took place. By the time she realized what he was truly all about, it was way too late.

You can call it what you want, but Sansa neither wanted to be bent over the bed, nor wanted to even be in the same room as Ramsey and his peeping tom toy.

What part of the "truth" that Theon witnessed would be enough to convict Ramsey?

If you think LF was going to actually let Sansa turn around, you're nuts. He had way to much invested in it at that point. He said that in order to manipulate her into going along with his plan.

It was never her plan. It was always his plan.

Exactly. If this were truly Sansa's choice, LF would have sat her down at a table in the Vale, asked her if she wanted to marry the Bastard of Bolton, she would have said "frick no", and that would have been that. LF instead gets her 3/4 of the way there, finally tells her, and Sansa is smart enough to figure out that she doesn't have a choice. I think she at least hoped that LF would be there to protect her from the Boltons, but by the point he leaves her, she's already in and fricked. If she were in the Vale and LF truly gave a damn about her opinion and well being, he would consoled her in the Vale, not at Moat Cailyn.
