I don't see it as a spoiler considering it's past events but some might.

I edited it although if someone actually sees that as a spoiler they're a tard, but whatever the doucheman is probably around these parts somewhere
My only concern is knowing how series often don't follow books to the page (see True Blood), is it something they could include later? That's the only issue I have about discussing books and the show together (at least to the detail). It would be appreciated if you guys can throw in the spoiler heading (or even book detail or something) in the post just in case (not trying to be an arse, just a request).
Daenerys' unborn intrigues me quite a bit (if it's as the witch told it in the show). And while I figured at some point the eggs would hatch from the foreshadowing throughout the season, that scene was just badass.

I want his email address. I would email him every major spoiler for the first 4 books 4 times a day everyday. After I read the 5th I bump it up to 5 times a day. Or just anytime I get bored really.
I usually wont post something that could be used later on, like the history of the 7 kingdoms I highly.highly doubt they work that into the series, it would be really hard to I think and its really.not that important just really cool to know I think. But I try to make a point to mention that what im about to say is from the book. Ill make it a point from now one because a sensible person actually made a sensible request to.

What we are talking about here is history. Not order of events in the book.
If the series attempts to change it, that is all they can do, in which case what we said isn't spoiler at all.
It happens chronologically more than a decade before the books even begins. It isn't something they can decide to make a current event.
Pretty much all of the participants in it have been killed in the TV show already.

All this dragon talk and nothing about Cersei sleeping with that attendant boy. What was that about?

That was her cousin, Lansel. Robert's squire before he died. Apparently she likes to keep it in the family.

I would write a detailed synopsis of the RW (do not spell out the phrase...even that is a spoiler) and mail it to him.

so the "youll never guess what happen in the season finale," thing was the dragons being hatched? i know i didnt post it as a guess, but as someone mentioned it was pretty obvious the eggs would be hatched when early Dany put them in fire. to be honest, there wasnt anything more shocking in this episode then when Ned got his head chopped off.
btw, is it spring 2012 yet?

Well shite I never woulda guessed it lol

I wasn't so much concerned about it being used as a current event, but instead incorporated in through a flashback or something (even though I don't take this show as the flashback type, you never know). Or stuff they haven't covered yet but will be shown in later seasons.
But thanks either way (and thanks Cotton for honoring the request, it's appreciated). I'm trying to hold off picking up the books since I already started the series and don't want to spoil anything too much. I am glad to hear they're following the books as closely as possible for a tv series though.

Spoilers/Information from the first book:
Those last two notes happens at the end of the book.
I guess they decided to open with it next season.
So why post it here if they may film it next season ?

If your a reader then holding off on the books is a bad idea. They are seriously 4 of the best books I've ever read, id be more worried about the series ruining the books.

They don't do flashbacks but they discuss prior events frequently. Edit that shite out guys. I read the books but I'd be pissed if I read that. I can almost guarantee they will explain that throughout the show. Half the fun is figuring out past events through the characters storytelling.

haha. its a fantasy epic that explicitly talks about dragons all the time. she just so happens to have 3 dragon eggs. it was pretty much guaranteed there would be dragons.
i thought i pretty surprising thing was tyrion actually being acknowledged by his father being named hand to the king. that was really interesting.

Yeah, but there aren't a ton of actual fantasy elements in the book. I mean there are the white walkers, but the first book was pretty realistic except for a few things. Guess that's why the dragons surprised me.
As far as tyrion goes, I guess he figured he would put someone there he trusts while he attends to other business.

It was posted with that disclaimer for a reason.
You had the free choice to read or not read it as you wished.
It was an elaboration of what was already posted at the time.
