Are we not getting the Kingsmoot story at all? I figured that would be an easy way to kill off Balon and get that story involved. I thought it was a weird storyline but figured it had to be extremely relevant for it to be included in so much detail in the books

Doesn't look like it - looks like somebody is just going to read a scroll about it, 2 or 3 sentences and that's it.
There's just no available screen time and they only ever had 3 relevant characters on screen for that storyline - Balon's dead and Theon is at Winterfell. When was the last time we saw Asha (Yara) on screen? The abortive rescue attempt of Theon/Reek at the Dreadfort, right? "My brother's dead."

I just don't understand why they just didn't kill him in the Season 3 finale. Have Asha go out there and get Theon anyway.

THEORY ALERT
Can’t you see a red wedding type thing happening to the Boltons. Ramsay and Roose think everything is going great after the wedding only to have “The North Remember” and wipe out the Boltons. Ramsay- DEAD Roose-DEAD , Fat Walda and baby – DEAD DEAD. But maybe more like the Godfather. Stannis marches his army to gates of Winterfell. Roose and ramsay think they are safe behind the great walls of Winterfell surrounded more Northmen that have come for the wedding and now trapped inside the walls with Stannis at the gates. Sansa in her Chambers talking with the old woman. The Old woman telling Sansa some story about how the North wil always love and be loyal to the Starks. All the while North Men are executing ramsay and roose and Walda. At the end of the monolog from the old woman and bodies piling up she tells Sansa “ The North Remembers” Leaving Sansa to open the gates to Stannis and she being placed back into power as Lord of Winterfell and Wardness of the North

I agree with some variation of that, but it will be LF orchestrating it, not Stannis. I also think Ramsay will survive the season since I think some showdown with Jon is inevitable.

I think on the show it will be Bolton pie (I would be pretty upset if D&D totally left that out of the show). I'm just not sure who will be the one to do the serving (could Sansa really do something like that?), and who will be the one to get served.

If he dies, I like the way they're doing it in the show more. I'd rather him die as part of the drama with the Sparrows instead of off screen in a siege that really just didn't feel all that relevant.
