Yeah, he doesn't sound like Han Solo should sound, unless he's supposed to be 11 and just looks old for his age.

Looked decent enough. Hard to get excited about star wars anymore. That last movie just about killed the franchise for me.

Looks terrible and I’ll actually give reasons

1. Why is Han Solo narrating his inner motivations? Freaking show us, don’t tell us. If the trailer has to do this then I can only imagine how bad the movie will be

2. Han Solo’s delivery is too wooden. No charisma.

3. It seems like he’s just James T. Kirk joining the Guardians of the Galaxy. I thought he was supposed to be a selfish a-hole by this point.

I am going to not predict, just going to see it.

Rogue One was a pleasant surprise, with trailers that did not excite. The Last Jedi looked to be awesome and was a pile of poop.

I am going to trust Opie got this turned around. This one looks gritty and that was what was great with RO.

I do fear it is going to be a bit of Robin Hood though.

there was never any way to get someone who could play this role, unless you cloned DDL as a 25 year old. That's why this movie was such a bad idea.

They could've done better.

The trailer looks like they remade Twilight and put a Star Wars topcoat on it.

I was excited after seeing the TLJ trailer.

I'm not getting my hopes up for this.

I thought the trailer looked good. The actor they chose to play Han doesn't sound like Harrison Ford at all in any of the lines I heard in the trailer. All the reports say that he sucks so this is not surprising to me in the least bit. Perhaps no one can pull off Harrison Ford playing Han Solo other than Harrison Ford, but it's worse here considering Solo can't possibly take place an incredibly long time before A New Hope (maybe 10 years?).

At least with Obi Wan in the prequels, who didn't sound exactly like the original actor, you could say that he spent 19 years alone in a desert.

You just can't tell that much from a 1 minute 40 second trailer designed to generate hype. I think though that like Justice League, I will go into it with such low expectations that I will be pleasantly surprised.

There's little Solo can do to fundamentally damage the franchise quite like TLJ did.

If this technology existed, why wouldn't you just say Harrison Ford?

Was that a trailer for Cliche: A Vanilla Movie?

When they set up the delayed "I might be the only person who knows..... What you really are" I almost turned off the trailer.

Well since TLJ saw fit to take a shite on Luke, Leia, and Yoda,

This movie can take a stab at ruining Solo, Lando, Chewie, and Jabba all in one movie.

They could have digitally de-aged Harrison Ford like they did Michael Douglas in Ant Man.

Beyond Han and Lando having gay sex, I can't see anything this movie could possible due to fundamentally ruin these characters the way TLJ ruined Luke Skywalker.

I'm sure Disney is saying, "Hold my beer..."

Han Solo was a shady smuggler who bounced around from port to port looking for illegal work for money. He also seemed like he was a playa when it came to the ladies. In this #metoo review climate bloggers couldn't write a "Horrible movie glorifying a criminal misogynist" headline fast enough if this movie were true to the character.

You have way more faith than I do. And it wouldn't surprise me at all to see Han and baby Gambino or whatever the frick his name is kiss in this movie.

I'd imagine Disney would rather say hold my non-alcoholic organic wheat-grass infused kumquat shot
