Jade tried to make him. How do you force someone to divulge something that you don't they know? Jade thought he got all the info that was available. He had no way of knowing that he had to force Victor to divulge more info that he was still keeping secret.

I think it's pretty clear he has autism. Unless you believe in anti-vaxxer pseudo-science, its commonly accepted that people are born with autism. They don't pick it up along the way.

Yeah, it's very much like Lost in that regard. It's not for everyone, and that's totally fine. I get how annoying it can be for those who want to see some kind of resolution.

I prefer if some things remain mysteries. I didn't use to feel that way, but as I've gotten older, I enjoy the magic of not knowing the exact link or reason behind every little thing. DO I want a resolution to the main storyline? Yes. Do I want an episode where they detour for no apparent reason to solve every side quest? No.

Man I’m almost caught up on this show. Was up late watching season 2 last night and that chained up character introduction and what he was saying made me fully invested into this show. So many possibilities and answers needed. I know it’s from the producers of Lost and those scenes really made me feel like I was watching a Lost with monsters And as mentioned before, this show would be so much more popular if someone else was carrying it other than MGM.

I am the same way. But I understand that not everyone feels that way, and I can't blame them.

Damn they packed some shite into tonight’s episode. I don’t even know what to make of it all. Do all three attacked by the cicadas pull through? Marielle looked pretty far gone but I feel like if she was going to die it would have been in this episode.

Tonight’s S2E9 felt like the most intense yet. Somethings coming to a head. The theories of the music box stop playing being the ending of the season definitely seems on point.

Has something to do with whatever is worse than the monsters here with the cicadas that was introduced in Kenny’s dream. When the music was playing over the radio in the RV the monsters practically backed off. Nursery rhyme says they come for 3 and that’s how many of them the cicadas got to.

Episode 9 was great. Jim and Kenny are unbearable though.

Enjoyed it a lot more when I was binging it. Think you’ll enjoy it if this thread piqued your interest. It felt hard to put down when I was watching one after another but now that I’m on a weekly basis I lost some interest.

They have me all in on the season 2 finale this week though. Assuming this weeks episode is going to be the finale at least with the cliffhangers from last nights episode.

I had never heard of it until I saw the trailer for it yesterday and was very interested and then this thread today so i figured I better try it out. I really liked the first episode and I will be able to binge both seasons since 2 will be done by the time I get there. About half through the second episode right now. Feel like something bad is about to happen at the hospital place with the crazy woman.

Enjoying the show. Some of the characters are awful, specifically Kenny. He's such a dumbass, and isn't a good actor.

He constantly rips Sara apart, and then tells her where the gun is so she can khs. So he leaves, she gets the gun for some Russian Roulette and he comes back and seems baffled that she would do exactly what he just suggested. And then instead of immediately grabbing the gun that isn't even in her hand at first, he waits until she pulls the trigger twice to grab the gun away from her. What the hell dude.

My theory about the chick that got reverse mutilated is that she was pregnant, and the husband will reveal it next episode, and they'll put 2 and 2 together, and start trying to figure out how to abort Fatima's baby, or whatever is inside her.

Also, I'm glad that Marielle is now comatose. Her and her withdrawal drama was wearing on me.

you stole that from Reddit? That’s actually a really great theory

The cicadas are just a vision like all the other visions we’ve seen townspeople have throughout the 2 seasons but interested to see what it means for the few that dealt with it. Esp ya boy that was out in the middle of the woods at night when Boyd Jim and Donna left in the van from the RV

I don't really get on Reddit that much.

That makes sense, they weren’t talking about it for nothing. People being worried about an unborn child still in the womb reminded me of The Walking Dead.

I'm more baffled at Reggie having a gf at this point. We all know what is going on with him

I agree with most of that, especially the Marielle part. She's terrible and isn't really serving any purpose outside of an outlet that prevents Kenny and Kristy from being together. These were my stream of consciousness thoughts while watching this past episode:

Why would Kenny not speak up when he hears reggie say what his girl was repeating in her dream? That’s what he heard in his dream.

This idiot Randall throwing the keys away. Smart move, retard.

People who die here, their fears become part of the forest. Interesting. It would be cool if that got fleshed out more.

So Victor’s sister’s drawings came from stories their mom used to tell. And she died here. So do her "stories" roam the forests? I didn't fully follow where that was heading.

Tabitha dreams about walking up stairs in a lighthouse. Would be nice if she shared that with Boyd or Sara (although likely not Sara obviously) since they’ve seen one and could maybe zero in on helpful things.

Victor said everyone won’t die again like they did when he was a kid. Hmmm. As much as I don't like random filler episodes, I think I really need a Victor backstory episode next season. They could use it to answer or explain some of the mystery surrounding this place. It would also be interesting to see how a little boy running solo managed to survive a place like this without really knowing what was going on.

This is the first episode that the bad acting stands out to me. Between Ellis and Reggie it’s bad. But I’m okay with it and it doesn't bother me to the point where I can't still enjoy the series.

Guess it’s helpful that Jim can jumpstart a van with no keys in about 40 seconds. And if you can briskly walk and beat the monsters they aren’t as much of a threat as I thought.

The old woman knowing Fatima is pregnant is hilarious. Zero chance she’d know "just because" or instinctually. That makes no sense.

Kristi telling Boyd to "do something!" when she’s the fricking nurse/doc is hilarious.

They come for three. So are three people bout to go? Ole boy in the woods (Randall), Marielle, and the daughter (Julie)?

Jade to Tabitha: "What you’re saying sounds bat shite crazy." We are still doing this? Literally everything about this place is batshit crazy.

Interested to see where they take the finale next week. Hopefully we get longer than 40 minutes of actual episode.

The acting doesn't really bother me, though I can admit it's not great in areas. My biggest issue is with the people from the bus, there's some really bad characters/actors in there. Hopefully they killed off two of the biggest examples though.

Also, it seemed like they could have at least attempted to look and see where the keys may have landed and then searched for the keys. Its not like he threw them in a river. Randall doesn't have a Josh Allen arm(I don't think), and its a big shiny key ring. Probably would have taken a minute or two to locate.

Especially since all you apparently have to do to protect yourself from the monsters is walk with a decent pace.
