Great so they raised the price back to back years and now they are adding commercials. My relationship with Prime is souring fast.
Ordered 5 packages last week. 3 didn't meet the Monday delivery date.

I enjoyed the last season. Black Blotter was one of my favorites.

Season 1's serial episodes were phenomenal, but almost nothing to this day tops the reveal in the last few episodes of season one. Seasons 2 & 3 are GOAT status in my book. Season 4 was better than 1 in almost all ways and gave us a glimpse into what the end game was.
Season 5, where to begin on season 5...
The writers said they needed 17 episodes to do it right, got 13, and still found a way to create filler episodes. The character arcs where odd at best for the new characters, the mcguffins there amped up to the max, and the time travel was extremely confusing.
Yet somehow season 5 was perfect as a series swan song for fringe and solidified it's message of "the sins of my father" better than any medium will ever be able to do again. As a new father (7 month old) I need to go back and watch this again. It's sad that I was the ring leader is the Fringe group when it was on TV on this board... Yet I have never done a rewatch of it.
Best series I have probably ever watched, and like I said before, watching it as a father now, I believe it could only get better with a rewatch.
P.S. I had a fringe Avi for YEARS after the show, and made most of the sigs or avis you would have seen on here as well.

You signed up for the Rewatch thread and then bailed.

Yeah I know
I was going to do it and then was laid off from my job and then had to change careers. If I could go back I would stick it out... but it just wasn't meant to be. I miss our weekly discussions on the live threads, tv has changed a lot since fringe came to an end.

You, me, and Fear Thr Hat were the biggest Fringe fans during it's run. Good times.

It was pretty cool how Fringe knew how it was ending starting with the 1st episode. I know Lost gets all the accolades ( and it was great) but Fringe IMO was the better more complete show from start to finish.
We can debate how great the finale was but i don’t know of one Fringe fan (this board had a lot of us) that walked away from the finale feeling unsatisfyied with the ending.
For as complex as Fringe was, Bad Robot tied up everything in a pretty nice bow.
ETA. Not to mention imo it had one of the greatest ensemble casts of all time. Walter was the GOAT but the chemistry between cast was second to none for a drama.

Tied for first place with Firefly as my favorite show ever. Such an amazing show.

Does that mean it can be watched for free?

Don't forget yuri, she was one of the most consistent

I still can't believe that was 6 years ago... I love how I made the claim that I would bet my first born that Abrams had something planned from the beginning. Funny how I read that 6 years later and have to giggle about that statement
ETA: if I get a chance I'll post how the timeline works in fringe, it's convoluted but I never really wrote it out. It is its own thing, I've never seen something like it before

Fantastic series, one of the few that I re-binge every couple of years.

Personally I think Lost caught him a little off guard. I’m sure he had a general idea but didn’t hash out the details bc he really didn’t know how it would turn out. In the end Lost did have quite a few loose ends.
Really think he knew exactly how Fringe would end when he shot the 1st episode. By the way, it isn’t mentioned enough that Fringe was the perfect length of a series. Long enough to build a lot of interest but not too long to require lots of filler episodes.

He had to have an idea how it would end or Letters Of Transit wouldn't have been made in season 4.

Probably the best ending in series history is the final 4 minutes of six feet under.

Michael C. Hall has the distinction of being in the Very Best and Very Worst TV series finales ever...Six Feet Under and Dexter.?

Where are you rewatching? My wife and I were so pissed when it was taken off Netflix.

Loved fringe. End of season 1 - 3 is basically the perfect series for me. For some reason I just couldn’t get into the final season. No idea why. Enjoyed it but not like the other seasons.

I was living in a cave for about 10 years so I binge watched Fringe, Lost, and then Person of Interest in 2017. Bad Robot put out some great television.
Started back on Fringe season 1 last month but got distracted, will have to dig back in. Such a great show.

Yes. You don't even need Amazon to watch. You can just use IMDB.
