you're off by a year. riggins is a sophomore in season 1 and a senior in season 3. beyond that, he has graduated. landry is apparently a freshman in season 1, though, because he does end up at east dillon in season 4.

I've watched the first 1st season several times. I tried to watch S2 but never finished because my gf at the time kept giving me shite about how it's a teen soap opera, and I realized she's right. Good guilty pleasure though.

Its difficult not to like the underdog Matt outkicking his coverage at every turn. And even in full douchebag mode Tim Riggins was somehow likable. And I agree with the poster who said the relationships and emotional notes seemed really authentic.
They might not be LSU quad worthy, but I don't know a female on that show that wouldn't get the Aunt Jemima treatment from me - Legendary Bill Murray

I thought it was pretty good writing for the show. He didn't do anything with her ultimately. She acosted and kissed him, and Tim was probably intrigued and even titilated. But Tim Riggins has the fortitude and resolve of a mountain goat. He shut that shite down!
