I’ve had the DVD set for awhile but pretty awesome for folks who don’t and want to see the show in its full soundtrack glory.

Sweet!
Bill Haverchuck is the real star of Freaks and Geeks

how did I just now realize that Haverchuck is Gilfoyle?

Wait, have other releases not had the full soundtrack?
I watched the show for the first time a few (4-ish) years ago when it was on Netflix. Was it altered due to licensing issues?

So depressing it was only one season.

Such a great show. I’m due for a rewatch and this is as good of an excuse as any

I was saddened to hear that Jessica Cambpbell passed away last week.

Lindsey probably caught some good dead shows in 81

Only the good die young. That's why Seth Rogen's still with us, I guess.

I believe this is the only time it’s streamed with the full soundtrack.

Loved the show.
Hated the finale.
The entire show it was made clear that Lindsay still valued her education and her future, and she actively pushes back when Daniel, etc try to push her too far off course. Her skipping out with hippies that we just met 5 seconds ago and Kim (maybe the dumbest character on the show) seemed too far out of character.
Nick giving up on everything he loved or cared about because of a girl he just started dating is fairly realistic but goddamn is it painful to hear him say "Bonham, disco, its all the same, man."
Sam breaking up with Cindy the next to last episode because she was a Republican would have been a great chance for his parents or friends to remind him what a selfish shallow prick he was the whole series too.
Bill and Neil were the best characters by far. Martin Starr was perfect every scene.

It’s pretty spot on for her really. Lindsey was just looking for home. She never really fit in with Kim and company. Nor was she really a nerd.
I am speaking from experience, jam bands attract people looking for an identity.
Realistically they only could have made these shows, unless they were really hitting the road with dead. All are still pretty good drives from
Michigan. So what shes gone a few weeks, takes some LSD and catch a good show in st Paul. Is home by August
Kansas City Municipal Auditorium, Kansas City, MO (7/7/81)
Kiel Auditorium, St. Louis, MO (7/8/81)
St. Paul Civic Center, St. Paul, MN (7/10/81)
Alpine Valley Music Theater, East Troy, WI (7/11/81)

It's been a long time since I've seen Freaks and Geeks, but I remember thinking how surprising it was that Seth Rogen had a career after this show. I thought his acting was terrible.
I'm really glad Linda Cardellini is still around though.

Love love this show. Watched it when it aired and rewatched since then. It holds up so well. And then last year I watched it with my (then) 17 year old stepdaughter and she absolutely loved it.
And agree that Sam is a total selfish a-hole the entire time. Cindy was too good for him, and he didn’t deserve her. And Haverchuck GOAT.
And it’s always crazy to me how much Sandlot Squints legitimately looks like a young Steve-O.

It was pretty clear to me that Lindsay was a nerd, she just wasn't a square, whereas all the other nerds at school were squares.
Nerd camp at UMich would have been a great opportunity (hypothetical season 2) to introduce nerds that weren't squares, if such a thing existed back in 1980s suburban Michigan.
I could see her running off with Daniel on a wild adventure, maybe, but not Kim and some complete strangers.
In the end it doesn't subtract from the like 15 other amazing episodes.

She is a cutie. Loved her in Mad Men, and she and C. Applegate are good together in Dead to Me on Netflix.

Absolutely if not one of the best characters ever on tv.

Any word on the cause of her passing ? Sad news. Only 38, and had a 10 yr old son.
