YouTube Trailer

Dr. Frasier Crane resurfaces after a 20-year absence, but with his return comes a reckoning that will alter not only the lives of those he once loved, but the very foundation of Seattle itself.

Emmy Award winner Kelsey Grammer reprises his role as the renowned psychiatrist and radio personality in the chilling conclusion to the Frasier saga.

Coming soon to NBC.

Praying it has some diversity and transgender characters.

I kept waiting for them to say, Just kidding, here's the real trailer. Are they really going dark and gritty with this? If not it seems like a publicity stunt that will backfire because now I kind of want to see this show.

If it's real, it's WAY darker than the lighthearted comedy I remember.

Why overkill everything with this?

Niles was plenty enough gay.

Opening shot is from The Perfect Host which was weird watching Miles go from mild mannered to killer. Good movie though.

From an Alphabet standpoint, it was the most representative cast of a major show, ever, with:

David Hyde-Pierce
Edward Hibbert
Dan Butler
(Subject to some controversy, John Mahoney)

Virtually every major male character was a gay actor playing a straight character except Grammar. And Hibbert's Gil Chesterton was a deliberate play on all that "gay or straight" bullshite. I thought it was an interesting twist that more people in the show's universe thought Frasier was gay than they did Niles (NTTAWWT) and the whole Gil's over-the-top trying to butch things up.
