No one watched The A Team in their youth? That and MacGyver were mainstays for me.

7 pages and did no one mention "Welcome Back Kotter", which might have the best opening theme song by John Sebastian. "Kotter" launched the career of John Travolta as the great Vinnie Barbarino!!!

Welcome Back Kotter - Not sure that's qualify as 'forgotten'.
Just a really good show that's fallen out of the collective consciousness over time. Like Dobie Gillus or The Patty Duke Show. Good for their time, maybe not great, but enjoyable.
Firefly still gets lots of praise, despite just 1 season. 20+ years old. But there was a show on FOX right after it I enjoyed almost as much with Dominic Purcell and William Forsyth called John Doe. Very Fringe, X-Files, Millennium like. It too only lasted 1 season. Banger of a finale' which we'll never see finished.

Not my youth, but when I was in college…
The Black Donnellys
Way too good of a show to just disappear.
