First photos surface from Top Gun 2 "Maverick" set

Shots are from Coronado, Calif., which is strange because Naval Top Gun school moved to Nevada decades ago. (I guess filmmakers are just ignoring that to keep the film set in San Diego)
Still rocking the jeans and cowboy boots and the bike is supposed to be some kind of supercharged Kawasaki ninja H2. Cruise obviously doesn't age.

Connolly would have to be. Looks like Jon Hamm and Ed Harris are in the cast, too.
