Fun Fact. He wasn't as hated as the show makes it seem. He was absolutely shite tactician and the reassignment was accurate.
But Captain Winters would go on to give lavish praise to Sobel for having his men so physically fit and disciplined that he deserved recognition for contributing to their survival throughout WW2. Sobel would also run with the men on all those long arse runs and usually beating them to the finish. He was a very physically fit hard arse in real life. Not quite the vindictive a-hole Ross plays.

It’s kind of like LOTR, Breaking Bad, Mad Men or something of that ilk for me

In that every time you frickers start this thread now I’m rewatching band of fricking brothers again

1. OP Yes it is that good and you will love it…if you liked Saving Private Ryan…this is better

But

I've watched the entire series 3 times and I see something new that I missed previously each time.
