True, but Mal does call her a whore, and when he walks in the shuttle when she's giving the doctor those packs, she makes a joke that she was pleasuring him.

Also, Out of Gas is great television...easily my favorite episode that I've seen so far. I think you're about 5 episodes away or so.
Just watched the Jayne worshippers episode and I'm about to watch this one. Better be greatness
This first season doesn't seem like a first season. It feels like this cast was together for a long time. They are perfect together.

I don't have a favorite episode - they're all my favorites. Those are 2 of the better favorites, though - Out of Gas, especially.

I also loved how they introduced Sean Maher's character, the doctor, as mysterious and sketchy, but then later have explanations for all of his suspicious behavior. And of course, the relationship between Mal and Inara is golden. I love the "companion" aspect of the future world they created.
after you finish read "Books Tale" it will take all of ten minutes to read and it helps you understand him much better.

I kinda figured the movie Serenity would suck for whatever reason and was actually taken aback with how good it was.

Just finished Out of Gas. Right in the feels. They did 3 different timelines perfectly.

Has done nude scenes in a movie. Google.
You're welcome (although she does have lesbian hair in it).

I can't believe that FOX is suddenly upset about the sale of unlicensed Jayne hats.
you can trademark an orange wool knit toboggan?

Kaylee's introduction to Mal and subsequent hiring is probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen on a TV show.

She's not a whore. She's more of the equivalent of a geisha, which isn't quite the same thing.

I loved that scene. it really showed the chemistry the cast built up in just one season.
the second half of the season was some of the best TV I've ever seen. character development, plot, and smart humor made this show amazing.
I've finished the series and I watched Serenity. I liked the movie. Even though it was tailored to suit a larger audience and introduce them to what's going on, it still answered some of my questions from the finale and did what it was trying to do: give closure to the series.
I HATED that they made Kaylee all dolled up. she was way hotter as the geeky mechanic instead of the all pink outfit she had at the bar when River goes crazy.
I so called the Reavers from the first time I saw them, I knew later in the series or in the movie, they would be revealed to be created by the Alliance.
Probably my favorite thing about the show is that it obviously inspired the Mass Effect franchise, one of my favorite game franchises out there. the captain, the crew, the exploration, the jobs, even the Reavers (called Reapers in the game, they harvest colonies of humans to generate power) are very similar

One of my favorite scenes is when they are rescuing Mal and Wash and River is shooting everyone without looking.
