I like the movie. The older ive gotten, the more I cant get over what a raging dick Ferris is. Very manipulative and selfish. The other thing that gets me is him hacking into the school system with a rig that expensive at the time probably means he was a harvard drop out down the road. He of course dropped out because he had started some tech company that he sold for millions on little more than bullshite and dreams.

Ferris was also a high functioning sociopath. A liar, a cheater, manipulative and a user of those around him. Friends and family had no more value than what they could do for him. Ferris is entitled and everything he does is at the expense of others. Only his sister knew what a shitty person he was. Right now, ferris is in prison for embezzlement or a failed ponzi scheme or some shite like that.

Whoa, I think you guys may be taking this a little too seriously. It’s a teen comedy ffs.

It's not serious. We're just chewin' on it. It's interesting to dig a little deeper into movie and literary characters. He was written as a mischievous teen but in actuality, he was a narcissist with strong antisocial tendencies.

Lol same here. To me, its just more a reflection of how old ive gotten since the first time I saw that movie.

The first time you think he's cool and awesome and all that. They legit have a great day!

Saw it again a few weeks ago out of boredom and now he just seems like a dick.

Movie is still great. I still wonder who picked up the check at lunch though. Lots of little things like that crack me up.

Well if he dined and dashed. Then he's also a thief.

Has anyone done anything remotely as crazy as he does in that movie back in HS and did or did not get away with it?

Pretty sure they did. He did a lot of trespassing there at the end, too.

Okay? Don't GAS what house they filmed the movie in and I'm assuming you looked up the house on linw.

Huge difference between "Uber Rich" and Upper Middle Class

And there’s no way Cameron, Ferris, and Sloan would not have had decent cars IRL.

What?Ferris talked about not even having a POS to drive.

Ferris ain’t got nothing on Zach Morris as far as high functioning sociopaths go.

Subtle. “I’ve still got hair” brag.

Congrats on becoming your parents

Terms like narcissistic and antisocial are perfect descriptors for even the most well adjusted teenagers, which is what the movie is portraying.

Sure it’s magnified for the comedic effect, but Ferris isn’t much more than a typical class clown that is bored and looking to test his boundaries imo.
