I guess I'll have to be the first person to strongly disagree with this.

You do know that Goodfellas came out the same year, among many other better movies.

Wrong. Misery is better.

1971 was a good movie year. After much deliberation, I'll go with A Clockwork Orange.

But really, Willy Wonka.

I like the movie a lot.

Just brought it up because I figured its what most people would pick for that year, and I didn't pick it.

There is no wrong when it's favorite movie. I might like misery more than TMNT (and as a old fart I did see it in the theatre) but its a personal choice.

67 was a fantastic year for movies. Personally Cool Hand Luke was my favorite but I can't argue with someone who prefers the graduate, or casino royale or dirty dozen or TGTBTU

It's what that person prefers. Off my lecture for the day, thx

I can't pick:

Ghostbusters
Temple of Doom
Gremlins
The Terminator
The Search for Spock
Amadeus
Revenge of the Nerds
Red Dawn

Who am I kidding? Ghostbusters.
