The first three seasons were great….season 4 fell off a cliff, and season 5, well, I honestly don’t know if I love it or hate it. I’m sure the board hates all of them***

I may be in the minority, but I liked 4 more than 5. I enjoyed Rock's character.

The unanimous opinion on TD is (rightfully) that the seasons 1 and 2 are elite. 3 was really good, but not on the same level. Pretty much no one likes S4. S5 is mixed but I didn't much care for it.

I get shite in here all the time but since they were released in the same year....Fargo S1 > True Detective S1.

I think fargo s1+s2 beats true detective s1+s2 but true detective barely edges out best season.
Fargo season 1 is just as good imo, but would be tough to call it better

What a unique topic. S.1 is brilliant. S. 2 was excellent but went a bit weird at the end. S. 3 was very good largely becasue of:
S. 4-5 garbage. Time to end it and True Detective.

S5 was perfectly enjoyable. Not S1-3 standards, but a very solid watch. Unless of course you are of a certain persuasion. And Idgaf about them.

The reason I thought the board would hate the series is because the board seems to “hate” almost everything ever mentioned on here….the analysis on this series from everyone is basically the same. That tells you a lot.
