Fargo Season 5?! Hulu

What an awesome season so far. I’m 1/2 way through and what a difference in writing/acting from this abortion that they’re calling True Detective. Jon Hamm kills it as a “constitutional” sheriff w nipple rings. The petite blonde from Ted Lasso is excellent as the main batshit crazy spidermonkey character. Jennifer Jason Leigh kills it as the rich, overbearing MIL. Highly recommend

all my friends are huge true detective fans and wont even try to watch Fargo. it's dumbfounding

If you get FX, you may still be able to catch it there as well. My parents have DirecTv, and I was able to record/download season 5 to their DVR yesterday.

My only gripe is how the frick did Tropper Witt Farr not shoot Sheriff Roy in the dugout? He was aiming center of mass and missed him completely.

Thinking about starting from the beginning, I've seen the movie but not the series. Silly question in this thread, but you'd recommend watching the series?

s1 & s5 are fantastic, s2 is really good, just not on the same level as those 2.
S3 is good

We just started watching from Season 1, and caught up to Season 5 this weekend. It’s definitely the best season so far.
Season 4 was TOTALLY worthless. We gave up on it- after 8 episodes, neither of us could figure WTF was going on, and I really don’t think either of us paid that much attention after Episode 4 or 5, just trying to power through it.

I saw a snippet of Jon Hamm on a forse telling folks to frick off about searching his property. Do I have to go back to Season 1 or can I start 5? I'm definitely intrigued.

You don't have to but I'd be remiss if I told you not to watch the other seasons. It's a great show, even in its down season.
