Looks great, but we can only hope. Kosinski has made one good movie - and how much credit are you giving him for TG-M?

Absolutely hate that they are including people affiliated with F1… already dated from the scene with Gunther

Rush is my #1 F1 movie. Gonna take a decent clip to top that for me.

not sure why the downvotes, you probably nailed the script..

I imagine this will be the F1 version of Kaepernick making a movie about Football

I enjoyed it, but that was the peak of my formula 1 fandom, too. I realize that driven was not an F1 movie, but it was amusing to see them use F1 footage through the course of the film, including one of the track marshal cranes taking a Minardi car off of the Loews hairpin at Monaco.

DEADLINE: Jerry, you mentioned the strike and how that affected the filming schedule. There are reports the budget will hit the $300 million mark — are they in the right ballpark?

BRUCKHEIMER: It’s completely, unfortunately, tens of millions of dollars out of whack in the wrong direction, and in the right direction for us. What people don’t realize is, first of all, we’re shooting in rebate [locations], England has a big rebate, lots of Europe has rebates and so does Abu Dhabi. It all lowers the budget. Plus, we’ve raised more money for our car [through sponsorship] than some Formula 1 teams. You take that all into consideration and it really drops that number quite a bit lower than what people would think.
