Genisys was trash

And I don't know how you never got spoiled on this plot point, they basically gave away the entire movie in the trailers right before it dropped.

I guess I'm glad I stopped watching after T2. That's garbage.

Yeah, I sat through every miserable frame of T3, which I can only describe as an unwatchable pile of hot garbage (at least in context of it being a sequel to T2, one of the greatest sequels/action films OF ALL TIME). As I understand it, it is the best chapter since T2.

Salvation wasn’t great but had potential. At least they tried something new and showed part of the war.

Sarah Connor Chronicles was outstanding, but was left with unresolved plot lines when it was cancelled.

This. Salvation by default is the 3rd best film.

The plot to T2 doesn’t make much sense “Oh yeah, two terminators were actually sent back in time to kill Connor” but it’s such a great film that you forgive it.

Love the first two films and can live with T3, but the rest of the universe sucks.

What? Only one was sent to kill John (the T-1000). Pretty sure it was clearly explained that John reprogrammed the original Terminator and sent it back to protect his younger self, right?

The "franchise" is a complete abortion after T2. Every movie gets progressively worse. Just pretend it ended after T2 like it was supposed to.

Not sure what you're talking about. There were only 2 Terminator movies.

SCC was great. And I'm beyond pissed we never got to explore the T1000s gaining sentience and joining the humans.

In T1, Reese says they had won the war but a T-800 had gone through a time machine to kill Sarah Connor. Reese went through and defeated the T-800.

In T-2, to explain how a T-1000 was after a teenage John Connor they had to fix the plot hole from T-1. There shouldn't be any other Terminators left to time travel.

So they said, "whoops, they actually sent two through (T1 T-800 and T2 T-1000), and we also sent a reprogrammed T-800 to help fight the T-1000." That's what he meant by two.

Now I can't recall every detail without googling, so it may be addressed, but I
think he's saying it begs the question why Sarah Connor/Reese didn't get anymore help than they did, why it was said so conclusively they had won, etc in T-1 and some other knock on effects.

Salvation isn’t bad but it’s definitely a phoned in performance by Bale. Seeing some of the actual war was cool.

It really should have been the end of the series.

T2 & Salvation are the best. The rest are almost unwatchable.

He is talking about Dark Fate. You know...the other Terminator movie where John dies. Spoilers... Unlike Genisys where he gets converted into a nanobot Terminator, he as a kid gets strait blown away by a T-800 in front of Sarah.

As I get older and the more I watch it, I'm more impressed by the first film than any other. T2 is a fantastic film but that first one is so raw and brutal.
