Sorry if this has been discussed since there is a lot of Avengers material to go through right now but...Does the introduction of time travel open the door for Kang the Conqueror in the next phase of movies? Seems like an obvious progression from here right?

Unfortunately for Kang, his most famous storyline is Avengers Forever, which Endgame largely cribbed from. I think they might wait on Kang until the Fantastic Four get established.

They're gonna roll out multiple versions and call it Kangz and this board will implode.

Adam Warlock is still in play with GOG
That was kind of a weird end credit scene if he had no plans for Phase 3

I guess they will pick up with him in Phase 4 with Thor joining the GOG and maybe that's how they bring back Fantastic 4 in some capacity somewhere along the way

Galactus will probably be the next big bad as he’s the most well known left out there that can even come close to the threat of Thanos.

Him or perhaps they can do a good rendition of Doom.

Though, it does seem like they are going more Cosmic now. Do we see the formation of S.W.O.R.D.?

With the need for a good Hulk solo film and the use of him controlling the Time Travel machine at the end. I am hoping they work a Maestro movie in somehow.

Also if anyone caught the "earthquake under the Atlantic" comment I could see Namor making an initial appearance as a villain.

But do you think they'd do this with DC's "Aquaman" actually being a financial success?

Even though, in this case, the Marvel character is older than the DC synonym.

Two references to sea/ocean events.

The event I had wondered about was the secret wars (I liked the buried hulk and broken shield references in Endgame). It would allow the introduction and conflict between already established heroes and the X men.

But I think they would need to develop the new storylines for a while before that kind of epic repeat.

I like the Scarlet Witch character- maybe they could do the white vision and her relationship as a side plot. Professor Hulk surprised me somewhat. With the Hulk using the gauntlet I thought the second mega gamma dose was going to result in an ultimate hulk storyline.

If they are smart they start the slow build up of Doctor Doom as the next big villain. With some appearances by Galactus and Adam Warlock.

It would tie into the Fantastic 4 being under Marvel's banner now and could easily lead into introducing the X-Men into the MCU.

I heard Marvel doesn't plan to ever make another movie that doesn't have either Black Panther or Captain Marvel in it FWIW.

I’d be up for a New Avengers movie with Professor Hulk, Scarlet Witch, Captain Falcon and Bucky

I think this time travel element and the multiverse opens some doors. Kang being one. I think we get either crossover or some sort of event film in about 5-7 years...like Civil War. Something where quite a few, but not all the heroes are there. Maybe the New Avengers and F4 fight Doom or something. He could be built up like a recurring villain like Loki, but with the resources and smarts of Stark. Basically the Iron Man of villains.

I think 8-10 years down the road is the next BIG crossover on the level of IW/Endgame. By that time the X-Men and F4 will be established with a couple movies each and Spider-Man will be older, so they’ll finally do Secret Wars. The multiverse comes back into play here as Beyonder (presumably the one controlling it) allows for heroes from any time/reality to be selected by Spider-Man. He’ll choose some of the obvious ones (BP, CM, DrS, main X-Men, F4) but he’ll also choose Iron Man and Cap who come back for one last ride with all the properties in play. I’d imagine this would be a two parter like IW/Endgame.
